I bought this back in early Spring. It took my husband a week to build (other projects going on as well). The instructions are so exact it’s hard to make a mistake. I LOVE my greenhouse and so excited to start getting seeds ready for Fall and Winter.

I purchased this greenhouse so I could start growing our own vegetables and get an earlier start with germination.. We were very pleased with this product. Went together well with detailed instructions and predrilled holes. Excellent product and we would highly recommend this greenhouse for the value. Drop down tables and temperature controlled fan were a plus.

I was looking for a small but functional greenhouse to fit within a small sideyard and the Willow is a great fit. Setup was easy and had lots of detailed instructions. I'm a little tall for this (6'3"), so I raised it a bit on a secured foundation. I've got lots of neighbor compliments and wish I had room for the larger models!

Purchased our greenhouse in July and it was delivered in August. We unboxed and waterproofed everything prior to construction, or so we thought. We didn’t open one box because we thought it just had the fan. Surprise. When we discovered we were missing some pieces, we opened the last box and found everything we were missing. Everything was labeled plainly. We were pleased that the pilot holes almost always lined up. The book instructions were clear and easy to follow. The BILT App did not account for the change in the roof construction. Removing the blue protective plastic on the metal pieces was the most annoying. We felt like we made good progress until the blue plastic removal. The actual construction took us (two old ladies) about 22 hours and the initial waterproofing took another 15 hours. We were very pleased with the quality of the materials, the clarity of the assembly instructions and the look of the finished product. Now if we can just grow something.

A nice greenhouse. Two main issues: it needs to have an additional large air intake so the door doesn't need to remain open in the summer. I solved this by removing one cedar panel and adding both hardwire cloth and a screen to the opening. In the winter, the cedar panel still fits in the intended spot. I also added hardwire cloth and a screen to the supplied window-keeps critters out when it is open. A fault in the design for the roof is that the supplied splice connectors are about a inch too short. That leaves a gap where water can leak inside the greenhouse. The manufacturer added an addendum to the instructions and supplies flashing tape and caulk, but it doesn't 100% solve the problem. Any water infiltration spells doom for the cedar upper wooden boards. What really is needed is to extend the upper roof panels about a 1/2 inch over the edge and make the splice connector longer. Also, add an aluminum drip edge under the polycarbonate panels in addition to the metal edge trim. This also means redesigning the rear metal edge to accept the panel overhang. It is not too difficult to do that from a manufacturing standpoint.

I bought this greenhouse for my wife in December 2023, Delivered in perfect condition in February 2024. We poured a concrete slab to build it on in April. What a great experience with Backyard Discovery. The greenhouse kit was in 8 different boxes with literally hundreds of wood pieces and hundreds of pieces of hardware. EVERY single item was clearly marked and easy to identify. They also included extra pieces of each type of hardware needed as well as any specialty screw bits or tools needed. In a world of companies doing the very minimum possible, it was quite refreshing to see a company go above and beyond to make sure that your project would go up without a hitch. Where most companies seem to careless after they get your money, Backyard Discovery actually cares about the quality of their product, AND the quality of the consumers experience in using their product. (serious golf clap for Backyard Discovery and their team). My wife and I took our time assembling the greenhouse, took about 2 and half days for us to complete the structure. We then covered all wood products with Penofin Clear Red Label Penetrating Brazilian Rosewood Oil (great stuff). Wife was going to be using it exclusively for hydroponic growing, so I installed many additional outlets on a GFCI. We also installed a stainless sink and reel hose. The sink didn't have a drain available in ground, so we drain into a 5 gallon bucket, that has a water pump inside with a float switch. So when she uses the sink the pump comes on and pumps the sink drain water out through a hose and into the yard. Since these photos were taken we have added a few extras. We were having a serious problem with heat, everything she was growing was bolting cause the Temp in June in So Cal was so hot that the temperature inside the greenhouse during the day would reach 125 degrees. All the vegetables she was growing were bolting. We first tried additional fans, didn't work. Then we tried an evaporative cooler, didn't work. We finally ended up with a combination of shade and AC. We installed a 10000 BTU wall AC unit which we keep set at 85 degrees. We installed shade panels in each of the ceiling bays on the inside of the greenhouse, and we installed a shade cloth that is mounted outside and shades our entire south facing wall. That combination seems to be solving our heating issues. Then for creature comforts we installed a porch light, interior work lights, padded flooring, and I know kind of cringe but we have a wall mounted TV for her to watch her shows while she gardens in her she shed. All in all, she's happy, I'm happy that she's happy. She has a real nice place to do what she loves, and I get a few fresh veges out of the whole deal. Thank you again Backyard Discovery!

I’ve wanted a greenhouse for several years. I ran across the Backyard Discovery online, showed the Willow to my husband and received it as a birthday gift! I love it and visit it daily. Just finished it last week and added chairs, a potting bench and plant hangers. My daughter calls it my “tiny house.” The advertisement is right…”Just add Gardner.”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great greenhouse with complete ventilation with forced and passive options. I like the exterior and interior hose hookups for watering. I like the folding shelves to allow for taller plants and trees. Has temperature activated exhaust fan. It has 2 easy to open windows. Great greenhouse!

We purchased our greenhouse this summer and ended up getting it built in our back yard just in time to start growing some winter crops in upstate NY! We are slowly introducing more plants and vegetables to the greenhouse and it's amazing to see it all come together. This greenhouse has truly become our little backyard oasis! We built the greenhouse on a concrete slab for stability and to help with longevity of the structure. My husband was able to put this together on his own (except for when he needed someone to hold the walls up while he connected the first two sides) over the course of 5 evenings. All of the pieces arrived well labelled with predrilled holes and easy to follow instructions. This greenhouse comes fully equipt with everything you will need. The water and electrical hook ups were a huge added perk for us. I have loved being able to get water directly inside the greenhouse for watering. So far, this greenhouse has been a wonderful addition to our garden and we look forward to using it for many years to come!

I am a 61 yr old female and was able to assemble greenhouse by myself. Not recommended for a one person job, but it can be done. Took me about 10 days working on it a couple hours a day. I did stain it a rustic brown to go with my mountain property. Very nice greenhouse.
