This thing is awesome! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It was super fun to build too. What a great addition to our yard!

Just finished assembling our greenhouse and I am very pleased with house easy it was to follow the step by step instructions. The numbering of parts and lumber were all very easy to find and follow. Easier that putting together some self assembly furniture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit can really dress up your backyard while providing a space dedicated to helping your plants flourish. It is sturdy and spacious. I love the functionality of the folding shelves which can be used as a work space or folded down for extra room when not in use.

Only complaint is the premade side panels- some were not square- made shelving wonky ; had to add extra bracing to get them level. Although we haven’t hooked up the electricity yet, the house is up and sturdy. We had 60 mph winds that sheared the tree across from it and a small branch landed on the roof, then blew off- No Damage to the poly panels!

Assembled the 9 x 6 Willow March 2024, it’s been a gardening game changer for me. Plants, ferns, orchids and seedlings are flourishing! Prompt delivery, the assembly went smoothly and instructions were easy to follow. This is a solid construction, the addition of the included power pack and fan is the reason I purchased and is essential for my thriving plant environment. I have recommended Backyard Discovery to many of my gardener friends who purchased this same model and they are just as happy as I am. The Willow fit perfectly in my allotted space, only regret, I didn’t have more room to buy a bigger model! I love my Willow so much. It’s my garden sanctuary!

I bought this about 2 months ago and it is beautiful now that it’s together but if you don’t have some kind of knowledge this was very hard to put together not everything that needed a screw hole had one and we really had to work to put it together it was not just a screwdriver kind of operation. Some of the pieces of wood were to long by just an inch or two but that can mess up the whole operation. I’m just entering winter now so I will see how it holds up with the Portland rain so we will see.

I purchased this greenhouse so I could start growing our own vegetables and get an earlier start with germination.. We were very pleased with this product. Went together well with detailed instructions and predrilled holes. Excellent product and we would highly recommend this greenhouse for the value. Drop down tables and temperature controlled fan were a plus.

Purchased our greenhouse in July and it was delivered in August. We unboxed and waterproofed everything prior to construction, or so we thought. We didn’t open one box because we thought it just had the fan. Surprise. When we discovered we were missing some pieces, we opened the last box and found everything we were missing. Everything was labeled plainly. We were pleased that the pilot holes almost always lined up. The book instructions were clear and easy to follow. The BILT App did not account for the change in the roof construction. Removing the blue protective plastic on the metal pieces was the most annoying. We felt like we made good progress until the blue plastic removal. The actual construction took us (two old ladies) about 22 hours and the initial waterproofing took another 15 hours. We were very pleased with the quality of the materials, the clarity of the assembly instructions and the look of the finished product. Now if we can just grow something.

A nice greenhouse. Two main issues: it needs to have an additional large air intake so the door doesn't need to remain open in the summer. I solved this by removing one cedar panel and adding both hardwire cloth and a screen to the opening. In the winter, the cedar panel still fits in the intended spot. I also added hardwire cloth and a screen to the supplied window-keeps critters out when it is open. A fault in the design for the roof is that the supplied splice connectors are about a inch too short. That leaves a gap where water can leak inside the greenhouse. The manufacturer added an addendum to the instructions and supplies flashing tape and caulk, but it doesn't 100% solve the problem. Any water infiltration spells doom for the cedar upper wooden boards. What really is needed is to extend the upper roof panels about a 1/2 inch over the edge and make the splice connector longer. Also, add an aluminum drip edge under the polycarbonate panels in addition to the metal edge trim. This also means redesigning the rear metal edge to accept the panel overhang. It is not too difficult to do that from a manufacturing standpoint.
