I bought two bags of this sweetener thinking it was a good thing. It gives a funny taste to Kool Aid drink mixes. I used only 1/3 C as it is very very sweet. I do prefer the Splenda product over this one, but you can only get this on-line, a real disappoinment as now you have to pay for shipping.

I enjoyed using this product and feel like it is a better alternative than white sugar we used previously but I have to be very careful of the amounts or it is overwhelmingly sweet. I find myself using about 25% less than what is called for because it is so sweet. So good value and product overall - just watch your measurements and maybe use a little less. I was interested to try this product since we a cutting down on sugar in my household. When I opened the bag, I saw that the product consists of very fine, white granules. The instructions say to use half the amount that you would normally use for sugar. I tried it with an unsweetened drink mix. The granules dissolved very quickly and mixed well with the most x and water. I wasn't sure it would make the drink very sweet, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was possibly even a bit too sweet, so next time I will use slightly less than the recommended amount. There was no aftertaste or any other flavor than sweet and the mix. This is the very finest of the available stevia products. I have been using it now for about 8 years. It used to be 1 portion of Pyure to 2 portions of sugar, but it has been diluted to 1 to 1 these days due to demand and rarity of the product. It is now about $56 for 5lbs.
