Brand new works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using swipe square reader (via headphone jack) on my android phone for craft shows. This reader is far easier to use. It is quicker and connects easily to my phone using bluetooth and rhe square app I already had installed. No problem ringing up sales and used VERY little battery power on my phone or the reader. The reader can be charged using USB.

I purchased this Square reader to take card payments at events. It worked perfectly! I chose Walmart because of the price. Arrived on time and packaged well. At my first event, 2/3 of my sales were with card and I made more than double what I did at my last event.

This is a game changer for doing shows. The swipe method seems to take forever if you have customers waiting. this is incredibly fast. I bought a second one so we can both work customers when it gets really busy. Love it!

This reader is necessary if you use Square to avoid possible chargebacks that you can incur if you accept cards with chips but they dont last very long. This is the 3rd one I have had to get in 4 years because they suddenly stop working. They are replaceable for a year from date of purchase and each one has lasted just a little more than that. Unfortunately there are no other options so I have to keep buying them.

Micro USB cable is missing??? I ordered it online, picked it up in the store in Germantown, MD. I am very disappointed, found the box has been opened, and the "Micro USB cable" is missing??? I went through a lot of hassle and spent money to buy the Micro USB cable. Someone stole my USB.

The product does not work in Canada since it is locked for use in USA only. Please do not have a US seller for your Canadian Customers since you have to have a Canadian set up reader to work in Canada.

would not pair to my device. I bought two of them and neither worked. Tried 4 different Bluetooth enabled devices, none of them recognized the device. Very dissatisfied.

It worked 10 % of the time. It had to connect with cell every time I had a charge. Then it would connect very slowly or not at all. It wasn’t a wifi problem because my little slider went through quickly. It’s going back.
