Had a bad smell, but didn't appear to be bad. Ended up steaming it for the dogs and the had smell went away. They enjoyed it. I will not eat it with the smell it had-disappointed.

There were quite a few bad broccoli's.

Stunk up my car, my fridge, and in fact my entire house. I'm not sure what's up with that, but these things really smell bad. Both bags were the same, and after eating half a bag, we threw all the rest away because we literally could not stand the smell. I'm 62 years old, and have eaten a ton of broccoli. Never in my life have I had any that smelled like this. Avoid like the plague.

Only broccoli I buy. We eat broccoli several times a week and I buy it at Sam's every 2-3 weeks. Great price great flavor cooked or raw.

I bought these all the time with no issues but the last few times they have all had a rotting smell to them and have an off taste when cooked. These were so convenient and nicely priced to add veggies into a meal and I’m seriously sad I can’t buy them anymore.

This has been a consistent issue for years, especially at Sam's Club locations in Florida. Whether I purchase it in-store or through delivery, the broccoli often arrives already showing yellow florets, which indicates it is no longer at peak freshness. Even when I cook it immediately after receiving it, the broccoli turns dark or black very quickly. If I keep it in the refrigerator for just two or three days, it becomes wilted and deteriorates much faster than broccoli purchased from other grocery stores. This has happened repeatedly over many years, across different cities and different deliveries, so I believe this is not an isolated incident but rather a quality control issue with this particular product or its supply chain. Broccoli is a staple vegetable for many families, and I sincerely hope the team responsible for sourcing and quality control will investigate this issue, review the freshness standards from the growers and distributors, and improve the overall quality. I usually don't have time to submit feedback, but this problem has continued for so long that I felt it was important to speak up. I hope Sam's Club will take this concern seriously.
