Smelled horrible. Looked fresh but had to throw away. Smelled my whole house up from just opening the bag.

These are a great value! Sometimes we get a bad or nearly-exired batch via curbside pick-up (though, we still greatly appreciate the curbside crew!) but they are generally good.

This is a weekly purchase for me. My last two bags have had black moldy stuff on the brocolli. The last one was bad right away. It was a curbside pickup that I did not choose myself.

Disappointing, must have been old stock because the florets went off within the week and had to be discarded even though they had been kept in a monitored cool environment

Use by dates don't say much. If it's good it's good but it can be dated a week out and already turning spongelike and discolored. I buy it but I think SAMs can do better.

Sam's-please bring back this broccoli-it's always fresh and lasts in the refrigerator quite awhile. The steamed broccoli you have replaced it with is not the same. I need the fresh florets for salads and eating raw.

This is a good broccoli to add on a veggie tray for a party. You might have to cut a few pieces to make smaller but it was a hit! Also took the rest and steamed it to eat with Teppanyaki Rice packet from Sam’s Club (Southgate). A very good meal for me!

We cook frozen broccoli for decades now the same way and know what to expect. But this brand has been an exception. When i tried it i became so petrified that i may have got covid. Very glad i did not and it was this product that had a foul taste. We had to throw it away as the whole family unanimously agreed.

Fresh, they keep a good while, and so easy to prepare. Just place in a steamer basket, covered, over boiling water for no more than 15 minutes until fork slides through easily but still bright green.. Remove from heat, remove lid and salt. Melt a little butter in a bowl and toss around cooked, salted florets. Ready to eat! (Pour water underneath basket in pot down the drain asap to prevent unpleasant smells. Overcooking also causes bad smell.)

I have been buying this bag of broccoli for a long time. I pick up a bag every single time I go to Sam’s. The last two bags I bought smelled my fridge up so bad, I had to throw them away. It took forever for the smell to go away. They weren’t expired and they looked fine.
