[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very slim ice packs that appear to have minimal liquid inside to provide cooling capacity. They come about half full of fluid so right away your losing all that empty space of The containers appear flimsy and manufactured with cheap materials. I was concerned they could leak in my freezer. The packs look like they can deliver the cooling capacity to chill food and/or serve as an immediate ice pack for minor sprains, etc. I put food and ice packs into my backpack and after 2-1/2 hours, the food was at room temperature. Not the cooling capacity I was expecting for this product thereby earing a 2 star rating. I also placed food in a cooler bag and added all 4 ice packs…it performed better when placed in an insulated bag. You cannot count on this product keeping your lunch cool when prepared 4 hours in advance. On the positive side, because they are so slim, they fit extremely well in small lunch boxes. This is an average product that delivers less than minimally to keep dairy products cold for anything beyond 2 hours. You may find yourself using all 4 ice packs at once to keep your lunch or dairy products cold.

They stay frozen in my lunchbox at room temperature for about 6 to 8 hours.I like the thin design that is not bulky and does not take a lot of space in the lunch bag. It is easily cleaned and refreeze fast for next day. I would diffidently recommend.

This fits my lunchbox (not a Bentgo) perfectly and doesn't take up very much room at all. Keeps my food nice and cool up until lunchtime. Also due to its thinness, it fits easily into to freezer without being annoying. Great product

They are really slim and will allow me to have two or three beverages in my small cooler. I usually use a gel pack but the gel begins to leak after a while but that won't happen with these ice packs.

I have years of experience with larger and/or thicker packs and, in general, they worked well in large coolers but not so much in smaller lunch totes. This slim ice pack seems to have solved the problem The pack lays flat in the bottom of my tote, and though the thin size doesn't stay cold for as long as the thicker packs, it's plenty for lunch. Nice idea.

They last all day so if you are trying to keep beverages cold they will do the trick. They are very compact so if you are trying to pack light they work well for that too. Just slip 1 slim blue ice into a bag & go. At lunch your food will still be cold.

Now I won't have to worry about leaving food out in order to fit an ice pack. These are so thin, they slide right on the side, top, or bottom of a cooler or anything else you need to keep cool.
