This corn is sweet and crisp. I cook mine in the oven and it comes out great. In a half steamer pan (bought at Sam’s) I put 4 ears and sometimes stack all 8 in one pan. A few table spoons of water and butter and covered tightly with foil. 350 for about an hour. So sweet and delicious. Always perfect.

End kernels are brown and mushy. The corn taste like field corn grown to feed livestock. Disappointing! It seems lately every time I get a curbside order I am given at least one expired or rotten food item. Sam' Club quality continues to go downhill.

My experience is that corn on the cob that I buy in the grocery store these days ALWAYS smells and tastes like it is infused with insecticide. ALWAYS. While this makes no claim to being organic, it consistently lacks any chemical taste or smell. In fact, it tastes great!

I usually buy my fresh trimmed corn at Wally World, but in a pinch I get them at Sam’s. These sometimes have a slimy feel to them and don’t always stay good enough to eat until we can eat them all. I only buy them here if I don’t have time to get them at Wally’s.

I bought this for my daughter’s birthday party. She loves corn on the cob and farmer’s markets didn’t have it out quite yet. It was surprisingly good, and got a lot of compliments! We used it the day after buying. I don’t think it would have lasted very long in the fridge, and I did have to remove a lot of silk before cooking. But it was still easier than husking them all

Good if in pinch fresh cob corn, check ends for mold b4 buying.
