[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vanilla hints and spice you can smell more than anything. With the taste however only the red fruits and spices can be tasted. I typically prefer sweeter wine over dry. And this is moderately dry, very intense just as it entails.

I am no wine expert, so I cant go much into precise details of the wine, but I do enjoy a glass of wine once in a while and I can say that I would get this brand and flavor again for such a random treat.

This is great wine when your looking for something that pairs perfectly with just about any meal, and is easy to drink. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this wine and here are my thoughts. I know some people were struggling to find it and I was able to find it at Total Wine. I think the price point for this wine is pretty amazing at just around $10.  I had a few friends over for a wine night and we all got to try it. Personally I tend to like sweeter wines so this was not my personal favorite, but if you like dry wines than you might love this. I also think this would be a good wine to mix with certain foods or involved in cooking or maybe to add fruit and make a sangria.

I served it with a nice steak, and some cilantro lime rice and it paired well. My guests enjoyed it as well. Would buy again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the bottle, I thought the packaging was made poorly. The sticker label was peeling off and bubbled up in multiple places. However, I am not one to judge a book by it's cover so I wanted to give it a try anyways. Honestly though, the taste went along with the looks. It said there would be hints of cherry and fruit. I did not taste any of that. It really tasted burnt to me. Burnt and creamy. Nothing I look for in a wine.

I had the boyfriend test it out for me because he is much more into a bit of bite in his wine, and he seemed to think it was fairly decent. I know the cost was only about $9 so it was definitely budget friendly. I personally prefer the sweeter kick in Lambrusco to the bitter strong taste of this. However, if you like the kick to the taste buds you might actually enjoy this.

The taste of this particular wine from Campo Viejo didn’t do it for me. This red wine was a little too pungent for my taste. I’m not writing this company off completely because I wouldn’t mind tasting a different wine from Campo Viejo in a different flavor.
