Crafted from 100% premium Tempranillo and a passionate winemaking philosophy. The result is a fresh and lively fruit expression of the variety, that is undeniably Campo Viejo. A vibrant expression of Tempranillo from Rioja. Fresh, juicy red fruit flavors with a hint of vanilla and spice. Leading with beautifully ripe black plum and berry fruit, and the brooding, dark earthy/cacao complexity typical of great Merlot, the wine also displays more lifted aromatic hints of violet, lavender, vanilla, cedar and spice. The palate is full-bodied and powerful with a plush richness and weight balanced by gentle acidity and an exceptionally fine grained, ripe tannin structure that lends the wine great presence across the full length of the palate. The deep cherry color of our Tempranillo that suggests a young and vibrant wine. It is rich in aromas and pronounced in intensity. We are struck by the ripe red fruit, later we get the wood nuances with gently sweet notes of vanilla to finish with other sweet spices. On the palate it is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish that leaves memories of red fruit, vanilla and cocoa. Perfect with pasta, poultry and fresh light cheeses, grilled chicken, small bites (light cheese, grilled vegetables).

Not a fan of Terino wine as it has a little bit more acidity. The wine producer has very good reputation and for those who like Tempranillo, this would be a great choice.
