Beautiful Fridge / Freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're having a great experience with the Samsung Fridge Freezer. The installation company was very helpful and did a great job. Have had the unit a couple of weeks now and have no complaints at all. It's very quiet and nice and bright inside. Finally plumbed in a water line to it so the water and ice-maker are working and it's very efficient. Definitely a major upgrade over our old unit. Very roomy on both the fridge and the freezer with plenty of door and shelf space which are all adjustable. The ice-maker is built into the door of the freezer so doesn't take up valuable room. Aesthetically the unit looks absolutely wonderful in the kitchen and is very well designed. It's also nice that the door handles are recessed in the doors so don't protrude at all. Would highly recommend to anybody. Five Stars! *****
Absolutely the worst ice maker and fridge ever
not a good fridge if you need more than 8 cubes of ice per day. the ixe maker is a totally different design which uses cold air blown from a tiny slot in rear of feeezer. there are no cooling coils in the ice maker lkke quality products have. also found 8 degree difference between fridge shelves. some shelves freeze items while others are much warmer. maybe samsung has some better models but i would strongly avoid this one if you want ice. one gkod thing... it looks really nice and is large inside. cant think of much other useful information at this point. if you buy one and are not happy dont hesitate like we did. return it asap. theg cant fix it.

More space. No adjustable shelves. Ice maker too s
I bought this about 2 weeks ago. It is definitely has more space than our previous side by side. The ice maker is too small for my liking. Now I have to take up room in my freezer with icecube trays. I don't like the fact you cannot adjust the shelves. I make a lot of cold brew French press coffee and there is no room for my French press.

Good fridge/freezer, terrible ice/water dispenser
it cools fine, has good storage space. very energy efficient. love having recessed door handles. but the ice and water dispenser is the pits. it takes forever to dispense a glass of ice. there is about a three second delay before the first ice cube comes out. it takes about 15 seconds to fill a tervis cup with ice, and another 15 seconds to finish filling with water. many times, after you let off the ice dispenser lever, it spits out one to three more ice cubes. but the biggest complaint is that there is no light on the dispenser area. even with the kitchen light on, it's very hard to see how much ice or water is in the glass. never again will i buy a fridge with no lighted dispensing area.

Cool and Spacious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product keeps everything equally cool. It doesnt matter if a shelf is over stuffed my drinks stay cold. The lighting makes it easy to find everything with ease. There is so much more room in this product than the previous frig that we had in the same space. I was able to adjust the placement of the shelves so I can organize the refrigerator the way I want it. The outside finish does not leave any smudges. I am not having to wipe down the outside of it daily. The shelves in the freezer are a little narrow. A medium size pizza box fits flat on a shelf.
NOT all around cooling
i've had this refrigerator for less than a year and am on my 2nd service call for the same issue- the refrigerator is freezing my food with the temperature set to 37 deg f. the 1st time, the technician could not locate a problem with the diagnostic tools, so he just replaced the computer. he also suggested i get a surge protector for the fridge in case a power surge may have caused the issue. i did. it worked for a couple of months, and now the same thing is happening again. after reading reviews, this is an ongoing issue for multiple customers and samsung is not fixing the issue. i called the customer service line and found that the warranty is a repair warranty only.

Ice Maker Sucks You Might As Well Burn Your Money
Ice maker never works. It continues to freeze itself and will not dispense properly. Customer service is of no help, will fight tooth and nail to actually send out a technician to troubleshoot and repair their faulty designs. I am not joking when I say you might as well just light your money on fire when it comes to this product.

Perfect in every way.
Purchased this refrigerator in 2020 and have had no problems. It has an incredible capacity and all food is easily visible due to the proper placement of glass shelving. It is easy to clean and very quiet. It is very streamlined and there are no handles to bump into.
Worst ice maker in the world
This has the worst ice maker I've ever seen in a fridge. It takes forever to make ice. Then it clogs so often most of the little amount of ice it made has to be thrown away because it's stuck in the door. The rest of the fridge is okay, but honestly it's overpriced garbage. I'd buy any other brand you were looking at. Samsung has no idea how to make ice. It's actually so bad they should pay you to take this fridge off their hands. I wish I could rate lower than 1 star

A needed upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my last Samsumg side-by-side fridge for a decade before I got this new one, and it's wild how much better the fridge design is now! The water dispenser area is now big enough to fit our sports bottles, and we now have ice AND water from the same dispenser! Plus, with the ice now in the door, there is waaay more space in the freezer. Actually, this fridge DOES feel roomier, and all in the same amount of space our old fridge took up. I am so satisfied! Looking forward to this next decade with my new Samsung fridge. :)
