Great value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fridge. It is priced right and has the smart features still. Not a fan of the French door fridges. Glad they still make a traditional side by side one. Fits all my food and meshes with all my other Samsung appliances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator had the best look and capacity of any any we looked at, but bought in spite of negative customer reviews because of factory and extended warranty and great results over several years with Samsung Televisions. At 5 weeks we are nothing but pleased with the refrigerator and found it to be a great value.
good and bad
I bought this fridge about six months ago. So far, it has run quietly and kept temperature fairly well, and it is quite roomy. On the other hand, there are a couple of things I do not like about it. #1. The icemaker: I thought having the icemaker in the door would be a big benefit by giving me more room in the freezer. It did that, but it makes ice so slowly, like 3 hour per cycle, and the ice storage is too small. It can't even keep up with two people, my wife and myself. In addition, the ice often gets caught in the dispenser chute and it makes a big mess when you have to take the storage bin out to clear the chute. #2. No matter how much I adjust the legs, the doors do not close properly.

If the front of the refrigerator is tilted forward, the doors won't stay closed.<br /><br />ㆍThe refrigerator door hinge is loose and therefore causing the door to not close or shut properly.<br /><br />ㆍCheck whether the door seal is blocked by debris which prevent the door from closing. To clean the door seal, use a soft cloth with warm water.<br /><br />ㆍEnsure that all shelves and drawers are properly pushed inside<br /><br />ㆍCheck to make sure the door seal is in good condition with no tears or missing/brittle sections<br /><br />Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Nic
Whats's in a Name?
I love Samsung and have many products made by them so when I needed a larger refrigerator and saw this one, well it had to be good right? Wrong. Nice looking tons of space but the water and ice dispenser is a joke and the even cooling is not good. Samsung service came out and hooked into its brain and said its good thank you good bye! I said I dont care what a cell phone wired ti my unit says I am telling u the problem. He said no, his info says no problem all good thank you and bye.

Could be better
Very roomy and pretty . Ice maker is horrible. Never has been successful at crushed ice and cubed ice is constantly jammed. Also icemaker is severely slow ! Control panel has gone out 3 times and randomly comes back on . Water filter ran out pretty quickly and cost $50 Expected alot more out of samsung

Don't buy if you want an ice maker
I've had mine for 3 years, after 2 years the ice maker started to freeze up, sure you can do the deforost mode, worked twice for me, then it started taking longer and longer to start making ice again, like 3 weeks the time before last I deforosted, this time still no ice it's been 6 weeks, good thing I have a garage refrigerator that always makes ice.

Perfect Upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the stainless-steel finish on this refrigerator. Sticky fingerprints or accidental spills wipe right off with just a warm washcloth. Didn't take long at all to start cooling and keeps perfect temperature.
Awful ice maker- freezes food in fridge
DO NOT BUY!!!! Wish I could give less than 1 star! Capacity is amazing, however the icemaker is terrible and freezes up all the time, freezer has to bet to 0 to make ice but freezes food in my fridge, and dealing with samsung customer care is a disaster! We've had this fridge since April 2024 and had problems from the beginning, but I cant get anyone to come out and look at it and attempt to repair it. They always walk me through the steps and say "if this doesnt work call back and we will send someone out" DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
Do Not Buy
I purchased a Samsung refrigerator because friends had purchased them and I thought it would be a great refrigerator. The ice maker quit working, I called several repair men, they all told me it was a flaw with Samsung. So I bought an ice maker. Then it started freezing up, so I paid $800 to have it repaired. Now the refrigerator no longer cools. I e ordered a GE Profile, but it is on back order.
