For years, I have been buying jasmine rice at asian supermarkets but noticed that the quality of my recent purchases are not as good as before. I then saw this bag of Jasmine Rice at Sam’s and tried it. It is perfect, just how I wanted, and the price is even lower than the prices at the asian stores! I will definitely purchase this again!

Initially when I bought this, it was fragrant and delicious. However, the last three bags we bought (our family goes through like one a month minimum) have all somehow had their fragrant jasmine rice smell with something closer to what I might describe as the fragrance of a warehouse. It makes the rice smell nasty and quite honestly can be putrid at times. Initially I thought it was our rice cooker, but after switching cookers and then switching to a different rice, we can safely say that THIS rice is the culprit. Don’t recommend.

I love this rice it is amazing, the only rice I purchase , it does not have a strong jasmine smell .

The original jasmine rice is a lot better than this brand of Sam’s,, this easily rotten.
