I've used this brand for many years and loved it. However, the last few times I've purchased one, when I open the bag, I've noticed bugs and maggots in the rice. When checking the expiration date, it's not expired. I will need to look for a new brand.

I have been buying this rice for years byt the last one l bought started crumbling as l was washing it and when l pressed with my hand, it dissolved oi powder. I don't know what changes but they are mixing them with fake rice. Am either going to buy jasmine rice some where or switch to long grain rice because this scared me.

Absolutely gross. I'm not sure what's going on. We have bought this brand before, and this time, it smelled metalic and dusty. Upon investigating further, the entire bag smells like mold. I attempted to taste it before, and it too is bad. I'm glad I'm the only one who ate some and not my infant!

This rice does not get completely cooked. I keep adding more liquid and more time and the rice is still "al dente", as my husband called it I have never had a problem cooking rice before. I bought the 25 lb. bag and kept thinking that I was doing something wrong. Finally throwing in the towel and will be dumping the rest of this bag, and won't be buying this brand again. Also, Jasmine rice has a very distinctive fragrance that is missing from this rice. I have been making rice all my life, and I'm a senior citizen now, so I don't believe that there is anything that I can do to fix this.
