My son received this as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago. He loves it, and still plays with it today. As many have mentioned, assembly was intense and took me several hours. This is not something you could do Christmas Eve after everyone else is asleep. That said, it has held up well for a couple of years. Last year a friend accidentally ripped off a door, to the point the door was not repairable. I contacted customer service indicated in the assembly info and asked if I could purchase replacement parts. I explained the issue, that it was our fault. They sent me replacement pieces at no charge. I would absolutely purchase this item again.

By this time I could have been 75% finished putting in a new kitchen countertop for the wife.. Better have a lot of time and patience.. Instructions are only pictures so use your best glasses and sharpest screwdriver, as some screws have to be put in tight spaces.. The numbered pieces should be changed from random to chronological as one assembles.. Have nimble feet not to step on anything, oh, and have a half room of clear floor space. You're going to need it.. I hope this lasts after it's finally finished.. Don't let the city know you bought this, because you'll probably need a permit.

Purchased this for our daughter for her birthday. It took about 5-6 hours for me to put together myself. There were 5 different spots that the finish on the pieces was cracked or chipped but these kitchens sold out so quickly in our local store that it wasn't worth potentially having no kitchen for her gift so we kept it and put it together. It's pretty solid and she loves it. HOWEVER the dishwasher door broke off in less than 2 months of her playing with it. It broke her heart. I've emailed the company in hopes of getting replacement pieces. Hoping it goes better for us than it has for many other people who have reviewed with similar issues.

Glad we bought it …it's great quality. Just know it's hours of labor lol. Steps go all the ways into the 40s and each step is like 15 things Lmfaoooo. Easily have been at this for an hour with the baby running around grabbing at everything lol. She finally went down for a nap so the process is going quickly but No joke like a million things to get it together but worth it. I love it and all the interactive items. So realistic and sturdy. I give four stars because there were some chips and dings in paint but not going to exchange… very minor snd some of these parts could have easily come pre assembled. Photos upload will not work

I bought this last year for my granddaughters Christmas. She loved it so it went to her house. I'm buying one this year for our our house. The ice maker works and the stove makes realistic sizzling noises. The cabinets hold lots of pieces. It is well built and very sturdy.

I was so excited to get it, but it's a huge disappointment. I got a refund. It was poorly constructed. The holes didn't meet up. The doors for the fridge won't latch because the predrilled holes are wrong. Nothing is close to square. The front of the fridge ice dispensers and console are glued crooked.

My husband spent 5 hours putting it together to only realize in the end that one of the doors and panels it attached to were broken. My daughter already saw the kitchen and loved it. At this point we are going to keep a broken kitchen so our daughter doesn't get heart broken. Very disappointed.

This is the most adorable kitchen! After assembling it I was really pleased with it. It looks better in reality that it did on the packaging. My husband and I gave this to our daughter for her birthday this morning and she was so thrilled. Very happy customer!! The light and sound features are awesome.

The dishwasher door (#36) broke off the kitchen the 2nd time my 3 yr old opened it. The door rubs on the frame and she pulled on the handle and the door just came off. The small piece the door is attached to (#34) broke a chunk off which led to the door falling off. So disappointed. We didn't keep the box so we are unable to return. I'm going to see if I can get those 2 pieces replaced. I tried to upload 3 pictures and it keeps saying error.

I bought this for Christmas because it was the same price as the plastic ones and seemed like it had more features but it definitely does not. Most of the doors/drawers get stuck against each other so you can't open the oven without opening the fridge. Plus the fridge part doesn't stay closed so we had to buy other clips at ace to make it open and close decent. It was also kind if a pain to put together. The pictures make it seem much bigger then it is. My daughter does still love it but disappointed that the microwave has fake buttons and the ice is way too big so its always getting stuck making the ice machine useless as well. We set it up Christmas eve but if we would have set it up before and realized what poor quality it was we would have returned. A few of the wood pieces broke as soon as we put screws in so we used wood glue to help. Overall wouldn't recommend but it does still get used!
