I bought one of each: the green, red, and gold for Christmas dinner snack table. The green were hard as a rock. A few of the red and yellow were ok to serve. But the rest were either hard as a rock or bruised and mushy. I bought them the 20th of December; some of them are still hard as a rock but shriveled. So…basically I paid $20, more or less, for a few kiwis.

I purchased them on April 2nd, and the kiwis were hard (not soft to the touch). I followed the instructions and left them in a bowl, hoping they'd ripen. I waited one week before one was soft enough to eat. A few days later, I bit into another one, thinking it was ripened, but it was hard on the inside and very bitter so I threw it away. Today is April 25th, and I ate my third kiwi and the others are still slow to ripen. I won't by them again; it's taking too long for them to ripen. I'd rather buy fruit that is ready-to-eat.
