I have been buying Sam's meat for 15 years. This was such a shocker. Since they started putting these in 3 pak( which is convenient) I have been dismayed. I've never had ground meat that didn't brown up in the skillet and large pink chunks that will not change even to light brown. This is the 2nd 3pak that has done this, and so now I'm done with with it. To top it off there is no flavor to it, either. What the heck have they done to this meat. It's almost like it isn't real anymore. Never again.

Excellent product. Used two pounds to make meatballs and one pound for burgers. Although most recipes call for 80/20 ground beef for flavor, I try to use beef with less fat. Used a basic meatball recipe with 2 pounds of ground beef, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup Italian bead crumbs, black pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, a little salt, 1/3 cup milk. A couple shakes of Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently just to blend. I got 40 meatballs total (20 per pound). Baked in a 400 oven for 18 minutes. Rotated racks and carefully turned each meatball with tongs at half time. They are delicious. Will enjoy a few with pasta and red sauce and will freeze the rest. These are much healthier than the frozen ones sold at the clubs. Very easy to make and Less fat and less sodium. Unfortunately, this spp will not allow me to upload photos

I recently bought this for the first time and absolutely loved it. The flavor was amazing and I loved the individual packaging. It is so convenient for use and freezing.

After browsing for over 30 minutes it was still pink. I will not purchase again. I'm positive this isn't actual ground beef

Misleading on the price. Online shows $5.92 per lb. when you buy it by the 18 lb case. I was charged $6.07 a lb. I bought the whole case. Thats $2.70 more unless there is some fine print I am not finding.

This is excellent ground beef. We are very picky when buying ground beef because so many brands have bits of bone or gristle in them. So far this has not had that. Great price also.

Very good quality beef. Packaging makes it easy to stack, store and organize in freezer.
