Did not seem like real butter.

I purchased this to bake for Thanksgiving. I sat a pound out t soften. After 4 hours thr butter did not soften. When I whipped it with my sugar it did not whip. I knew this would have an affect on my cake. My cake was not as moist. I have used this product in the past but not for my German Chocolate cake. I used it on my popcorn ot was very oily. This was a very bad batch of butter.

I buy this butter every month

We eat a lot of toast at my house. And bread and butter. And I like baking. So we use a lot of butter and I keep this on hand for all our butter needs. I love knowing I have butter on hand and I have never had a problem with the taste or texture. I'm completely satisfied with this butter.

Great butter BUT......

This is great butter and I've been buying it since becoming a member but the price has gone from $11.98 to $15.57 in just two days. I get it that everything is going up nowadays but that's an awful login just two days. Have found equally as good butter elsewhere for cheaper so I'm going with that now. Stars reflect the price.

Wonderful Value

This is the best deal I've seen on butter in a LONG time. $2.37 per box before tax - most places in my area charge way more than that. The quality is excellent as I only use real butter (it's a lot healthier than margarine) and this bulk buy lasts me a little over a month. They can be frozen and turn out fine, but I just keep them in my fridge and haven't had a problem with them spoiling.

Awesome butter

I buy this in massive quantities and use it for everything. I set a pound out to soften then mix it with olive or grape seed oil to make margerine for the family. There are only 2 ingredients, cream and salt. The price is great too. I attached a pic showing how many chemicals are in a typical margarine and how many ARENT in this butter. Enjoy!

Shocker

There should be two ingredients in butter cream and salt! Pay attention to the ingredients. They have started thinning this butter out with the addition of milk. If you use this butter for baked goods buyer beware! I will never buy this product again

Member's Mark Salted Sweet Cream Butter

I wish I didn't have to write this as a negative review. We purchased a 4 lb pkg of the salted in Nov. 2019. We haven't been in the area of a Sam's club for quite a few months so the last time I purchased this product was the beginning of the year, the butter tasted ok at that time. This butter had absolutely no butter taste. It was also very 'oily'. We will finish out the purchase in baked goods. I may purchase again in a few months to give it another try, but if it is the same I will return it and move on to another brand.

Sweet Cream Butter (Salted)

The packaging of Member's Mark butter (salted) has changed. I have been buying it for years and using it for a lot of cooking and baking . . . loved using it. However, it seems that the quality of the butter isn't the same and it isn't as flavorful as it used to be. I was wondering if you may have also changed supplier. My apple pies just don't turn out like they used to and my leftover "cinnamon crust" comes out of the oven soggy, not nice and crisp and brown. Sometimes water is pumped into butter . . . could that be what happened? With the holidays, I use a lot of butter, but will not be purchasing this. I guess I will have to spend a little more to get a better quality.
