This is actually really good butter. I picked it up after reading some other online reviews saying how good it was and it's definitely as good as any domestic butter you're fine. Yeah it ain't grass fed Kerrygold or whatever but it is still really good.

We quit using seed oils and keep this butter in covered dishes on the counter and it doesn’t go bad.

We've been buying this butter mostly salted, but some unsalted as well for going on 20 years. We've never had a bad experience. Good taste and long shelf life in the fridge. Just wish it hadn't gone up so much over the years and especially these days. That means we tend to buy it just when it's on sale.

I went to a food show last year and one of the booths was about butter. One of the first things she said was please don't use margarine, it's plastic. Love the butter….But recently, the wrapper on almost all sticks has been “caught” in the butter. It's almost as if they put the wrapper on before the butter has set and it leaks around the wrapper a bit. Not a huge deal, but I've actually had small pieces of the wrapper end up in my food.

The quality has gone down starting at about the same time as the package changed.

I have been baking cookies for many years, for my family and for weddings and other events. I had 3 consecutive batched of cookies fail, chocolate chips, orange cranberry, white chocolate macadamia. All I have made in the past. They came out of the oven beautiful, sat on try 2min. they fell looked like a puddle of grease with lumps. I scrapped the chocolate chips but the other 2 were to expensive to scrap. I went to the store and bought land o lakes butter, re-baked the chocolate chips, the came out as expected. Our sams club is remodeling and keeping product in metal trailers in the parking lot. I think the butter had been frozen. When I cut a piece to put in veggies it flaked, I have never had that happen before either. WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN. It was a very costly lesson to learn.
