The price on this is insane Sams! It's now up to 3.68 a lbs. The butter is fine and I use to buy it for the price but when I can get Land 0 Lakes on sale for 3.49 a lb. and sometimes even 2.99 a lb. then there is no doubt which one I will choose. I will just start stocking up on more Land O Lakes when I catch it on sale...butter freezes just fine.

I buy this in massive quantities and use it for everything. I set a pound out to soften then mix it with olive or grape seed oil to make margerine for the family. There are only 2 ingredients, cream and salt. The price is great too. I attached a pic showing how many chemicals are in a typical margarine and how many ARENT in this butter. Enjoy!

This butter tastes like yellow Crisco. I’d love to have it analyzed in a lab because I highly doubt it is pure real butter. It has no flavor and feels like thick grease (crisco) in your mouth. With inflation I’d rather they raise the price than give me crap like this. I want real butter.

I have purchased butter from Sams Club for several years. I’ve never had any issues with it in the past but something has changed in a major way. After extensive research a couple years ago, I learned that it is perfectly safe to leave butter out on the counter at room temperature for a week with no concern of bacteria due to the fat content in the butter. I have not had any issues until my last purchase of butter from Sams. When the butter is out for no longer than two days, the color changes to a darker yellow and it smells rancid. I can only surmise that the quality of this product has now been formulated to cost someone less, while we pay more. This is yet another product I have to mark off my list from Sams.

This is the best deal I've seen on butter in a LONG time. $2.37 per box before tax - most places in my area charge way more than that. The quality is excellent as I only use real butter (it's a lot healthier than margarine) and this bulk buy lasts me a little over a month. They can be frozen and turn out fine, but I just keep them in my fridge and haven't had a problem with them spoiling.

I wish I didn't have to write this as a negative review. We purchased a 4 lb pkg of the salted in Nov. 2019. We haven't been in the area of a Sam's club for quite a few months so the last time I purchased this product was the beginning of the year, the butter tasted ok at that time. This butter had absolutely no butter taste. It was also very 'oily'. We will finish out the purchase in baked goods. I may purchase again in a few months to give it another try, but if it is the same I will return it and move on to another brand.

I have been a loyal purchaser of Sams Butter, but it is clearly not the same product. What a disappointment! The butter has absolutely no taste or butter smell. It also does not soften at room temperature the way it used too.I noticed it months ago but thought it was a bad batch. Please return to the original recipe.

I have been buying this butter for years and it was a good quality butter, several months ago the wrapping changed which was ok until you taste the butter… I don't like to be mean but its horrible. I have friends who also buy this product and they all say the same it's not the same butter!! What did they do to it?
