[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I'm on year number 8 and the roof is warping and fading and the screws are popping out of the framework. Not sure if I can get replacement roof parts or not. got to find out what the 10 yr limited warranty covers. Probably not much.

Windows do NOT open as described. They are solid panes. Flooring "bubbles" a bit in the heat, had to replace about half of the screws with self tapping screws to put the walls/roof together as the ones that came with it didn't work well. Otherwise, shed is decent. Suits the purpose, so no other complaints at this time.

I purchased this to store holiday decoration but after completing the shed build I decided to to do a leak test by simulating rain with a garden hose with spray head. Water ran from the roof and down the front walls and under the bottom of the wall and inside on top of the floors. Called Lifetime customer service and they told me that the shed is not waterproof but water resistant. So I would not recommend this if you want to keep things dry inside.

This shed is great because unlike wood you do not have to do maintenance every 10 years. You'll never have to paint it or change the roof shingles. It works great. The only suggestion I have would be for it to come with a way to bolt it to the platform. The person installing it told me to make sure I have lots of weighted items in it so it didn't blow away. It also does seem to get a bit wet inside during big storms.

Down load the you tube video as well as getting two or three handmen you. Make certain they startby putting everything in differentsections, like they do in video. Absolutely nothing was labeled anywhere at all. Hope this helped and have a wonderfully Blessed day y'all!!!....CLnChico2 .......

We purchased this shed 2 years ago and she's still going strong (see recent photo attached)! Perfect for all our storage needs, as we don't have a basement. It keeps all our summer outdoor furniture, fire-pits, carpets, etc. protected and looks really great too! We hired pro's to build a raised base with concrete footings and pro's to put the shed together - it cost more to do it that way, but it was worth it. Zero complaints here!

Three adults put this shed together in approximately 6.5 hours. It looks so nice in our backyard. The only disappointment that we have is that the flooring is soft. When attaching the truss it fell and hit the floor which resulted in piercing the floor. So we now have a hole in the shed floor. We also were using a ladder and it has left soft spots on the flooring as well. We are disappointed in the quality of the floor and that is why we gave it a four star instead of a five.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this shed March 2022 due to having to give up my craft room because a friend was needing a room to rent. My husband built a platform and we assembled it. It was easy to assemble took 1-1/2 days to assembled with 2people. It waterproof so far. The only issue I have is it is extremely hot now that summer is upon us. Husband is looking for a portable A/C .

Sturdy

I'm not sure where to start! When I first bought this, I didn't realize that there was so much more that you have to buy. I know it sounds stupid. I bought the 8 x 10 structure floor frame as I didn't want to deal with the mess of cement. Then I had to buy 3 sheets of treated plywood which isn't cheap. So I spent a small fortune! Now, putting it together!! The directions are the worse that I've seen in anything that I've bought!! It's like we had a different book with different letters and numbers to the parts!! It's crazy!! I had to go out and buy more long screws as we didn't have enough! Apparently I didn't spend enough!! Why don't you have your pieces marked?? I've never seen anything as bad as this. I did read the reviews. If you want to get to the bad reviews, you have to read many pages as all the 5 star ones are first! I do not recommend this to anyone!! I would not have bought this shed as it's not worth the money. I'm disabled and on a set income and what a waste! I had someone who did carpentry/construction over 40 years and he's never seen anything like this!! My neighbor thought of buying this one and said it was too much money. I was so stupid buying this LifeTime shed!! It better hold up for the lifetime!! I wish I could have returned it, but it's up, I am missing some parts to the door. I did read that some others had missing parts and said to myself, I hope that's not me??!! $1,700+ for this piece of building!! The price includes the 8 x 10 frame(paid over $500), the plywood and the other parts I had to buy!! When you send directions, 1)- put english in one part, spanish in another part. Not together where you have english with two other languages at the same time. 2)- Mark the pieces, put labels on them such as A1, B2, C3 etc. You show the part, but don't have it marked!! The boxes were marked, but the parts inside the box were not!! You had many bags of screws with letters that didn't correspond to what was written in the book/directions! It was like having a different book for the building?? I've bought many things that had to be put together and I never had an issue until I put this building!! My neighbor was smart as they didn't want to pay the price!! I wish I was!! I paid almost $1,600 for this. Yes it's sturdy, but it's not easy putting it together even when the flooring was level!!!!!! It would have been so much cheaper and made better if I had bought the material and had someone built it so much better!! People, read and read and read all of the reviews!!!! You should have a column with 1 star ratings, 2 star ratings, 3 star ratings, 4 star ratings and 5 star ratings!! I did try calling, but I was on hold forever. Tried calling back and they were closed!! Surprise!! Never ever will I buy anything from LifeTime again!!! If I don't have to assemble it, Maybe I would buy it!! I bought this back in June of this year, but because of a family emergency, I couldn't get anyone to put it together for me until now. Luckley the weather here was in the 60's and 70's. It took three people who have done construction and carpentry for many years!! If you really care about what customers say, start listening to them!! I wish I hadn't bought this knowing what I know now!! I do not recommend anyone buying this shed or any other ones. It's a big waste of money especially for some!!
