We purchased this unit May 2020. We do use it every night in our bedroom. In the winter, we run just the fan for sound to drown out the outside noise. Last night 2 nights, our beardom temperature was mid 70"s. I set the mode on cool when we went to bed. Woke up and the room was still mid 70's, warmer than before setting the A/C to cool mode. I found the compressor is not kicking on. Also, the remote control quit working after the first year of use. We are very disappointed that we have to purchase another unit so soon after only 2 years. I will not be buying another Midea after this failed unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the design is clean and simple, pretty typical looking window air conditioner. No sharp corners for curtains or shades to catch on, so that is appreciated. The installation was very easy, however, be aware someone or better yet, at least 2 people should install this in the window because it is very heavy. As far as performance, wow, it is powerful! The room temperature was 75, and decreased to 68, in about half hour (the size of the room will affect this as well). Much quicker than central air or portable air conditioners. This A/C also has smart technology built in, for example, it will remember the last settings and keep them when you turn it on again. Downloading the matching app was easy and adding the device was as simple as scanning the QR code. So one can use their phone or the remote to change the settings or turning it on/off. The filter is located in the front, easily accessible and can be washed! I highly recommend this air conditioner for its power and durability.

It is ok, easy to install also, I could not tilt it as the instruction stated, also the bracket comes with it to secure it either to vinyl or wood windows but it does not mention aluminum windows. The WiFi is nice and easy to set up, the cool feature is nice and more than enough for 100 SF room

I also love that it’s not too loud, it’s blowing out pretty cold air and very strong so I’m happy with the noise level it’s at. I haven’t tried the smart part of it yet as I just put it in but I’m sure that will be amazing. I love this air conditioner and I’m actually going to buy myself another one for my bedroom. I’m very happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this 12000 BTU conditioner for about month now, and i realy like it. Looks very nice and modern, and it fits well with the interior. The control panel is clean, stylish, and very easy to use. In terms of performance, it is powerful and cools the room quickly. It maintains the temperature very well, even on hot day. I am impressed with how fast it brings the room to a comfortable level. The wifi and voice control features are also a great bonus.

So far this window AC unit has been working great. In the two weeks of use, each day has been 110+ in the Phoenix area. I turn the temp control up to 79 and put it on Economy and in the evening I lower the temp a bit and remove the economy setting. The dogs are very comfortable and actually have it better than I do!

Nice little A/C, it was a little finicky to get the plug to reset to allow it to turn on, but it finally worked and the remote control never worked, checked the battery, and then looked at it through an infrared camera to make sure it was working but no dice on working the A/C. It was for my son who said he was more likely to use the wifi app anyway. So all is good. And the best part is that it fit our narrow windows.

Assembly and installation were very easy and took less than 30 minutes. I love the remote and WiFi features. This is definitely the most advanced AC I’ve ever had. My bedroom has stayed nice and cool thanks to the various settings, including an eco mode. I can’t wait to use this AC all summer!

This is a very poor quality product, underperforms in any aspect (air is not cold enough and fan can not disperse it more than 1 foot from the grill at its highest speed). To make things worse, it is unbelievably noisy (no way to sleep at night having it ON). Last, Customer Service is just utterly junk - agents can barely speak/understand English, have no training at all, and will truly waste your time (I tried with 3 different agents). This is a nightmare company. Sam's Club need to stop carrying Midea's air conditioning products

I love being able to to adjust the temperature from my phone or just by telling Alexa and the timer and sleep mode are very convenient. It cools down the room fast and keeps it super comfortable. Setup was straightforward and didn’t take long, having an extra set of hands definitely helps since its heavy. Overall love this sturdy, powerful, smart ac!
