[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one compact yet powerful window ac unit. It is a lot easier to install with two people. The installation was easy. The digital features make it more modern and cool looking. You can control the the ac with an app on your phone. We are still trying to trouble shoot on the app connecting to ac unit. Once the temperature is set, the unit will maintain that temperature. It will shut off once temperature is achieved and turn back on when it needs make room cooler. This is very energy efficient. We are very happy with this ac unit.

Purchased to replacement my 5K unit for better coverage. New unit works and functions during testing by touch buttons or remote, but can't get the WIFI app to work with it. No instructions with the unit to connect to WIFI, only thing found is a YouTube video that doesn't work. The only reason I give two stars: The unit turns on and works with the touch buttons and the remote, can't connect to my phone or network.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With summer heat and humidity here ,this Midea 8,000 BTU Smart Cool Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control was a welcome addition to my home .This compact room A/C(with easy Installation kit included )was easy for my husband to install and fit perfectly in my 36 in wide bedroom window. It appears well made of quality materials and cooled my (little less than suggested 350 sq. ft.) bedroom very quickly .This has a lot of the bells and whistles of more expensive brand names like: 3-in-1 Comfort: Cools, Dehumidifies, and Ventilates , Smart Phone Control from anywhere using their app or Alexa , 2 Fan Speeds , 2 Cooling modes and even Energy Saver . Also a washable filter. I would defiantly recommend this a/c units to all my friends and family.

I really love the fact that you can use this Google and or Alexa. Love the options and the look of it ad well. We love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the Midea 10,00 BTU SmartCool Window Air Conditioner in our 400 square foot room while it was 98 degrees F outside. The room was a garage that has been converted into a bedroom. Even though this room does not have great insulation, we set the unit on high and the temperature on 62 (the lowest available) and it cooled the room down nicely in less than 30 minutes. In addition to it quickly cooling the room, I was so pleased that it was quieter than the 12,000 BTU unit that it replaced. The installation of the AC went smoothly. The directions were complete and easy to follow. There were some small gaps between the unit and the curtains, but we were able to use the provided vinyl tape to seal things completely. The remote control was nice but we were not successful getting the app installed due to it's size.

No more having to be at home to adjust the temp settings, they can be conveniently done from my phone or through our Alexa. It keeps out living area nice and cool even on the hottest of days. Comes with remote and app to install to control temp settings easily and power on and off. I am very happy with this unit and reccommend everyone giving it a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very nice unit and i'll explain my overall rating however first things first. I love the ability for Wi-Fi and voice control, both of which worked flawlessly for me. It's not necessary however it was a very nice feature. It kept my room cool as well and seemed to do pretty well when adjusting the temperature, really helps in the hot weather. With that said, this was replacing another unit, another very plain jane unit with no Wi-Fi or voice control, and i'm not sure if it gets the room cool as fast as the old unit. It does work though and keeps it cool when it gets there, I just don't think it pushes the air out as much and that's why my 3 out of 5 stars. If I had nothing to compare it to, i might give it 4 or 5 stars. I do think you will be happy with this unit however if you are replacing something just be prepared to turn it on a little earlier (before bed for example) to give it a head start.

Starting cooling off my bedroom instantly. Doesn't make a lot of noise. Has great features. Any best part, I can turn it off from anywhere. I just love it.

It's very energy efficent. Easy to set up. Has a handheld remote and a cell phone app that makes operating the air conditioner even easier than a manual one. Has extra features that many other brand of air conditioners don't, like 3 speed fan, eco mode and an easy to service filter.
