It's very energy efficent. Easy to set up. Has a handheld remote and a cell phone app that makes operating the air conditioner even easier than a manual one. Has extra features that many other brand of air conditioners don't, like 3 speed fan, eco mode and an easy to service filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Midea 12,000 BTU SmartCool Air Conditioner. I especially love that it has Wi-Fi and Voice Control which we have enabled with our Alexa. I love the digital display for temp control, the remote for easy use. It is also Smartphone compatible, is Energy Star and EnergySave which helps lower your energy bill. It is quite easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got the Midea 8,000 BTU SmartCool Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control, I was so excited I mean a remote operated ac is great but voice controlled awesome. Blows so cold cools my bedroom and bathroom with ease, multiply wow features, works on wifi also this is an ac for all. Easy to install also.

Purchased one of these units. Unpacking the unit the bottom front 2 feet were all scratched with some other minor scratches on the bottom. Since this was brand new I went and exchanged it for another. The additional units we opened were all the same. I did end up bringing one home as I needed something and this was the perfect price for a smart unit. I understand this does not in anyway affect the performance but I do expect it to look new.

We had an combination AC/Heat window unit that we moved into another room and used the Midea for that room it replaced. It was smaller than our previous unit and lighter as well (I am taking into account the heating unit does make the other one heavier.) I was not sure about the brand yet the price was right so I tried it. I have to say, one month into using it in July/Aug in Texas with the extreme heat we have had this summer, it has performed well. It is quieter than our older model and I like how you can turn off the lights features to keep your room dark at night. It does the job (for one month-the hottest month period this year though). Sam's stands behind their products, so we have not looked back on our purchase. Surprising good AC!

I really love the fact that you can use this Google and or Alexa. Love the options and the look of it ad well. We love it!

I went to a local home improvement store and purchased a bracket to install in the mindow for the unit to have some additional support. Im in South Texas and it gets HOT. My AC struggles to keep this old house cool. The Midea smart cool unit has been an excellent addition to my house. It keeps the house cool and keeps my electric bill down. I love that this can be operated via Alexa or the app. So I can adjust the settings while I'm away. There is a dehumidifier option, 2 fan speeds, a timer and a sleep mode. The filer is washable as well.

With 12,000 BTU it kept my 1000 square feet room super cool and the air circulated well throughout the room. I kept my bedroom doors open, and it also kept those rooms nice and cool. The AC was also very quiet, so I am super happy about that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a top notch window air conditioner. It's so amazing and everything I was expecting and then some. I knew it was voice activated and could be connected to WiFi but I didn't know you could pair with Google Home. I have my lights and everything controlled with google home so it was nice to add the ac on it to. This is a 12,000 btu ac and it covers a large area. We have a cabin on a lake where we stay on the weekends, that I was able to install it at. I can now power on the AC before I get to the cabin and go in to a nice cool home. Oh that means a lot to not have to go in to a hot house! My cabin isn't huge and it has an open loft and bathroom but it covers the whole area. The ac is pretty powerful to. It doesn't take long at all to cool the home. As far as looks goes, it's nice and modern looking. I've seen no leaks so far and or anything freezing on the inside. Hasn't shorted out or anything along those line. It's been great so far. The app is very easy to navigate and set up was easy. Comes with a remote, I probably will control it through the app or Google Home, but it's a great benefit if your not in to smart phones. All in all I'm more then please. The ac is made very very well. High quality make for sure and it's built to last. I'd absolutely recommend.
