It can be controlled from the unit itself, with the remote, and you can download an app and control it from your phone! With the app, I can turn it on when I'm heading home from the store, work, etc. and let it start cooking things down before I come home. It is also voice controlled which is even better when I'm laying on the couch and getting too hot or too cold and need to adjust it without getting up. It has multiple fan speeds and settings to find just what you need. It really is an amazing air conditioner!

My husband installed it in our guest room which we just recently added in our house. The room cools easily within minutes and I like the fact that it also dehumidifies and ventilate because I have a very sensitive son who easily gets irritated during summer times due to his allergies. Also, it's an energy saver so it doesn't really cost us much with our electric bill even if it's in use it's every night. Another cool features that I really love is how easy it is control with the app and voice control. A/c Unit and app installation is very easy because it's compatible with our Alexa and google home. the remote control is also a great addition because we can control it without the hassle of getting up to adjust the and control the temperature or turning it off. We've been using it for two weeks now and we love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty standard window air conditioning unit with the exception that you can control it with your phone via an app from midea. It says you can also use the Amazon Alexa or Google home but I just chose to use the app instead. Set up was pretty easy I used it in my bedroom window which was perfect, because we had our air conditioning breakdown, and needed a nice cool fix on these 90 degree days. getting it to stay in your window was a breeze and I had no issues whatsoever doing that. Downloading the app and figuring out how to do the controls was also very easy as well. it seemed to keep our bedroom cool it took some time just because the house got pretty hot before I got this up and running. But it did end up keeping the room nice and cool until I got the air conditioning fixed. My only issue is it is slightly loud, more loud than I would like for something like this. I feel like the money that used to make it Wi-Fi capable they could have put towards making it quieter.

Let's face it, a southern Louisiana Summer is HOT and i will take all of the extra cool i can get. I have been very pleased with this product in respect to ease of installation and ease of use. Also the output of cool air does not disappoint and the wifi and voice control features are a bonus to easily change the temp as needed.

There is a timer feature that can be used to turn the air conditioner on at a particular time. The unit can be run using the enclosed remote control. Additionally, a major bonus to this unit is it is compatible with your smart phone (both android and iPhone) which allows you to control the unit from virtually anywhere. It is extremely easy to load on your phone, you scan the QR code on the side of the unit or the included 'user manual of smart kit' and within moments it is loaded on your phone. There are so many other wonder features about this unit also such as a sleep mode, an energy saver mode, and an auto feature that will run the unit on AC or fan depending on the rooms need. The key pad has an indicator that notifies you when the filter needs cleaning. The air conditioner cools up to 550 sq. feet which is great for our open living room space. The only con I could see with this unit for some people (though it was not for us) would be the weight as it is on the heavier side. We love this unit and could not be more pleased with how it works.

Runs great. I have a large room upstairs thats my daughters room. The sun beats on my house all day. The room always gets so hot and air conditioners seem to struggle to keep cool even with black out curtains. No black out curtains and this A/C works amazing

When I get home the house is already wonderfully cool.If I was at home I could use my Amazon Alexa to turn this air conditioner on, also. It cools my bedroom and living room very quickly. It runs very quietly so that I can sleep. The air blows in four different directions so it cools all parts of my rooms. Another great feature is, it's Energy Star rated to save me money on my electric bill.

I was excited to use the WiFi and voice control feature. I was able to set it up with my Alexa and turn the AC on when I am upstairs. It cools the whole basement in under an hour. The air can me directed in 4 different ways and the fan is a great bonus. The remote is a great bonus and the Energy Star is something I look for in all my appliances. I'm very happy with this AC.
