[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been having this Midea SmartCool Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control for a few weeks now. It is exactly what I needed and more. The 12,000 btu unit keeps our shed very cool. It doesn't take long to cool the entire room and he unit is pretty quiet for being a window unit. The extra features are what I love the most. The fact that I can control it from my phone or Alexa is so awesome!! Now we don't have to sit in a hot room waiting for the a/c to cool it off. We turn the unit on with either the phone or Alexa and it's nice and cool as soon as we walk in.

I purchased the 12,000 BTU version of this product to replace an electronically malfunctioning U-Shaped unit prior to the mold recall on that particular model. When I went to inspect my remaining U-Shape unit for mold (which it was covered in) I thought I should check this model as well. It turns out this model has black mold on the fan wheel as well as the styrofoam insulation. Currently trying to get through to the company for a return as this is now another one of their models with a mold issue and it causing health problems for my family.

My family moved into a house six moths ago and the house had and old swamp cooler that wasnt keep cleaned nor was it maintained. We has maintainence pull it out and we but this unit in. this keeps my living room cool on hot days. It was easy to set up. The only issue is that the setting up the wifi and voice control is difficult. Other that that its an awesome product.

Just came today. Was a timely manner. Came in great shape. Easy to install. I rent, so I cant screw holes in the windows, but was still able to set it up and use the included foam to make it work. The wifi set up was easy. Remote works fine. I love that I can set up a schedule so it doesnt have to run so hard when I'm not home. So far it is cooling my upstairs nicely. I am pretty sure all these people complaining would complain about anything. It isnt any louder than the one that I just replaced that wasnt cooling any more. Over all, so far, I love this purchase and might have to buy another one of the other bedroom.

I bought this A/C in late June, the unit arrived very quickly. The installation was very straightforward, the package includes everything I need. I did it myself within less than 1 hour, with most of the time is to remove the old A/C from the window. This Midea A/C works excellent, cool down the oversized living room very quickly, the best thing I like this AC is the feature that I can easily install an App on my phone, and using the app to turn on the AC when we are about to return home. We have got it running for more than month, plan to buy another one for bedroom.

It can be controlled from the unit itself, with the remote, and you can download an app and control it from your phone! With the app, I can turn it on when I'm heading home from the store, work, etc. and let it start cooking things down before I come home. It is also voice controlled which is even better when I'm laying on the couch and getting too hot or too cold and need to adjust it without getting up. It has multiple fan speeds and settings to find just what you need. It really is an amazing air conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very nice unit and i'll explain my overall rating however first things first. I love the ability for Wi-Fi and voice control, both of which worked flawlessly for me. It's not necessary however it was a very nice feature. It kept my room cool as well and seemed to do pretty well when adjusting the temperature, really helps in the hot weather. With that said, this was replacing another unit, another very plain jane unit with no Wi-Fi or voice control, and i'm not sure if it gets the room cool as fast as the old unit. It does work though and keeps it cool when it gets there, I just don't think it pushes the air out as much and that's why my 3 out of 5 stars. If I had nothing to compare it to, i might give it 4 or 5 stars. I do think you will be happy with this unit however if you are replacing something just be prepared to turn it on a little earlier (before bed for example) to give it a head start.

Let's face it, a southern Louisiana Summer is HOT and i will take all of the extra cool i can get. I have been very pleased with this product in respect to ease of installation and ease of use. Also the output of cool air does not disappoint and the wifi and voice control features are a bonus to easily change the temp as needed.
