The difference is night and day - the LTX's are quiet, smooth riding, very responsible and hold the road well. I hope to get many km's out of them.

Rotated regularly and never over inflated. Tires had good traction in bad weather but the wear was horrible.

Best tires I ever used on an Explorer. They got me where I wanted to go on back country logging roads in the Pennsylvania big woods.

The rubber is so soft that trad looks like it's rolling down, there's are chunks of rubber hanging.

They perform well on dry and wet surfaces, fair on snow. But at 45K miles they are close to needing replaced. They are rated 60K miles.
