I have 7 acres and this thing does run fast, ill give them that. However it is the bumpiest ride youll ever have. Imagine riding a school bus down a dirt and gravel road at 55mph, same feeling. It rattles alot all over, i have tightened all the bolts and it still makes you think its going to fall apart. Some of the washers on the front shocks are even plastic! It rides very well on smooth surface. Also, you will need a long funnel to fill the fuel tank, they brilliantly decided to mount the back rack above the fuel cap inlet. (Photo attached)The speed can be adjusted with a screw that is located on top of the carburetor near the throttle cable. The cart is also very small, my head sticks up out of the top about 4" and my legs are very uncomfortable giving cart rides for the little ones. The biggest thing I noticed is this thing has almost zero turning radius.(photo attached)It is very awful. Worse than any motorized toy i have ever had, and thats a lot!

Bought KT196 in Dec 15. Complete junk workmanship. Welds break due to improper technique. Metal and hardware are low grade. Under warranty it was fixed three times and now that warranty is out more parts breaking. Examples are bolts, suspension, welds, and the basjey on the rear. Motor is good, made in USA. I wouldn't waste my money. Kids can't ride it when it's broken.

Unless you will be riding it on ultra flat surface do not buy,front suspension is junk ,my grandson just rode it around yard and up and down gravel driveway and the ball joint broke, took it back going on 3 weeks and they still havent got it fixed ,coleman customer service is non existant ,very disappointed

We bought 2 of these for Christmas 2016. They rode them for about a week and they've been broken ever since. I ordered parts ( belts and steering mechanisms) and it is now May 1st and still no parts. I'm so upset that my kids have been without their big Christmas present going on 5 months now. Such a disappointment!

My review is just like everyone else's. I bought the go cart for my grandson for 2016 Christmas. He rode it in my back yard 1 time and then we came back in to open the rest of the presents and have Christmas dinner. He was so excited to get the go cart that he had asked for about 1 year, I was so happy he finally could ride with the kids down the street. He got on it went to show it off. When he turned into the drive way the boot came off one of the tires. Thought things happen, ordered the part to fix it. My brother fixed it. He got on it that day. Went stright to the neighbors house he called me about to cry and said Nana it's bad really bad this time the wheel fell off. I went to look and yes the wheel had fell off and the whole thingy holding the wheel axle broke completely into. Just by turning into the driveway. I pulled it home, dragging the darn thing with m6 truck. I noticed another thing has a bronken welding attachment. I noticed the cover to the carbrater was missing which had to have fell off. I already have put $60.00 in it know telling what this will coast. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! JUNK JUNK. JUNK AND MORE JUNK. WASTE OF MONEY!!! THAT LOOKS GREAT !!! I'M TELLING YOU THE WHOLE DANG WHEEL BROKE COMPLETELY OFF IT'S HANGING!!

I purchased 2 go carts from Walmart ormond beach for my 2 sons. Worst experience ever both in store and once I brought them home. On the first day while riding the trails, not one but both clutch belts have been pinched in half causing a major headache. They both currently reside at a mechanic for I'm sure what will be one of many trips to come. The statement was made that the clutch was never aligned properly when manufactured. What a waste of time, and a horrible beginning to my children's christmas.

I have three of these Coleman KT 196 Go Karts and have had no problems with either in 3 months of use . You have to Assemble them correctly and retighten everything after "shakedown cruise", that's all. They are a blast to drive and fast too. Little tight on legroom if your 6', but flip seat belt swivels towards back and you can bolt seat back a little further . I love mine and for the money you can't beat them in my opinion . Easiest motor to start I've ever had . One pull . Hardly any effort at all .

Do not buy this go kart, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS GO KART. It has been broken more than it has been ridden. Bad clutch, muffler just fell off, chain won't stay on, broken front ball joint, and I could go on and on. AGAIN, I REPEAT, DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

Was hesitated to purchase gas powered after having such success with the Razor electric brand. It's christmas day and we started the go kart my son drove it less than one minute and shut it off to go use the bathroom. Came back outside and an hour later we still cannot crank it. Use starter fluid, checked oil and spark plug etc. Brand new and these types of issues??? This was an expensive gift that the entire family split equally to afford. Well my son has no christmas gift now because we have to return it. How awful....

This go cart is an excellent starter edition for kids older than 10. Is powerful enough that it is super fun for adults too! My 12 year old cousin can crank it with no problems! Fun to ride around the yard, handles turns and bumps with no troubles. We love to run them through the hunting trails near our house. One tank of gas lasts hours depending on how much you weigh! Love love love!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
