I've used these for the last couple of summers. The pool water seems to remain really clear and not much of a chlorine smell. Couple them with Arm and Hammer clear and balanced tabs. I like that they come individually wrapped.

Putting chlorine tabs in packages is the worst thing to do! Not only is chlorine already strong but I want to be able to put them in my skimmers right away not sit there and about die just to cut the bags to get the tabs out. This is the worst ever! No other chlorine tubs I’ve bought like name brand or store brand ever been packaged.

Can anyone tell me what tabs you used in the past? Also can you tell me the ingredients and how much percentage is in each tab. I pay a lot of money for my tabs, they are great, they work and with our city water problems they've still done their job. I get 35 lbs for $129.99. They last from the middle of May until the 1st week of October and I have enough to open my pool the following spring until I can order more. They dissolve very slowly.

I place one of these in my pools skimmer basket and in 24 hrs. it's gone, the name brand I was using lasted 5 to 7 days. If you do the math these are very expencive. I will never waist my money on these again. I gave it 2 stars because they do what there supposed to but they just dont last.
