Very Pleased

I have used this product for years now. Same quality as pool supply store, with the Sam's club price savings. 3 tablets are enough to chlorinate my 18,000 gallon pool for 2 weeks. Highly recommend it.

Caused Chlorine Lock

I started using the Sam's Club tablets and shock for the past two years. My pool chemistry was always fluctuating and this summer it got crazy. Appears that in Florida, where I am, you do not want to use this type of chlorine. It brings your cyanuric acid (chlorine stabilizer) up to the point where no matter how high your chlorine level that you test in your pool algae will still grow. The stabilizer will not let the chlorine do its job. After a lot of hassling and research the only way I was able to break the cycle was to put about 8 lbs of calcium hypochlorite pool shock into an 18,000 gallon pool. I did contribute to my own problem because each time I saw algae growing I would use the Sam's Club shock which just exacerbated the problem.

you get what you pay for, and this is not what you want. These tabs plus their brand shock locked up my pool chemistry. had to drain most of the water, refill and used shock and tabs purchased from a pool supplier. yes it does cost more on the front end but less in the end.

Good product, don't like each tab is wrapped

I bought these for my pool, to add to an automatic Chlorinator. As most people using these tabs for automatic feeders, having the 3 inch tabs is a MUST.... but I prefer them to be UNwrapped. Meaning I don't have to unwrap each individual tab. Product itself works great -- packaging (individual wrapping) leaves something to be desired. Mail order 3 inch tabs are always Individually Wrapped. In Store 3 inch tabs are usually UN wrapped.... dissappointed the bucket didn't specify this, as I would not have bought.

Wasteful

These are typical chlorine tablets, nothing special because they do their job. The issue I have is that each tab is individually wrapped. This is not only extremely wasteful but such a huge pain to open each one. This is literally the only brand I've seen that wraps up their tabs, who thought this was a good idea? Is it to stop the smell? For what, these tabs should live outside in storage anyway, it's not like you have them hang out in your kitchen.

Packaging pain

Chlorine is chlorine, right?... all pretty much the same. Nicely priced compared to pool store. My gripe here is the each individual tab is packaged. Why?? Not only is it a pain at the pool with wet hands and no scissors handy, but do we really need to add more plastic waste to the world? Do better Sam's.

DO NOT USE THESE TABLETS

Since these tablets contain cyanuric acid - something I just became aware of - it completes screws up chemical levels. Chlorine will not work; the cyanuric acid does not diminish in the pool ever resulting in skin rashes and numerous other health problems. After using for 2 years, I now have to drain 75% of my pool water and refill to try to be able to fix the problem caused by this product

These Tabs are Terrible

I wish I could get my money back. I have never had so much trouble maintaining a chlorine level in my pool until using these tabs. It’s my terrible luck that I’d try them during a year when there is a chlorine shortage!! I’m actually mad about this!!
