I'm from the Gulf Coast of Texas and this is not "jumbo" shrimo; it's scarcely a step above popcorn shrimp. I'm fact, the biggest piece of shrimp is the tail sticking out of the batter. Anyone who gave a positive review doesn't know shrimp. It was more like a shrimp cracker with two thirds of the bulk being the batter and the shrimp being so sparse as to barely add anything like shrimp flavor. These were so dry that I had to smother them in tartar sauce. It was embarrassing to have served these as appetizers over the holidays. We live out of town and were without a backup option for an hors d'oeuvres. It wasn't worth the gas or effort to return these crusty micro shrimp. Usually we have been very pleased with Members Mark products, but this was absolute garbage, from a shrimp lover's point of view. If you might like a shrimp- "ish" hushpuppy, this is the breadstick for you.

My wife used to bug me to buy Sea Pak Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp. They were so meaty and delicious we would go through a box in no time. When she baked these Member's Mark shrimp, I couldn't believe the difference. They tasted like poor quality ground up fish sticks, deep breaded. The breading wasn't even tasty. I guess Sam's doesn't read it's reviews but I cannot believe this (the switch from Sea Pak to this terrible product) is going to be a money maker for them. I don't have an axe to grind and spend tons of money at Sam's but this product as well as the Member's Mark potato salad (also awful), are causing me to question top managements commitment to quality and its customers.

Very disappointing. There is nothing jumbo about these shrimp. They are very small shrimp disguised in big blanket of breading. Needless to say, what you taste is dry breading with a hint of shrimp flavor. No thanks. Please bring back Sea Pak - JUMBO BUTTERFLY SHRIMP!

I just had these breaded shrimp and they were horrible!!! I followed the directions and we threw most of it away. There was way too much breading and most of it fell off as we were putting it on the plate. The shrimp were small and there was no flavor.

I used to buy these battered shrimp all the time but now since they've switched to members mark they are horrible. The taste isn't the same. Sometimes 2 or 3 shrimp are battered together, or a half of a shrimp is battered. I will no longer purchase these. I've also noticed that they've changed a lot of name brand items that I like to members mark. I will not be renewing my plus membership because members mark is not of good quality.

I haven't bought breaded shrimp at Sam's since they switched to their own brand. The coating is very thick. You can hardly find the shrimp. No flavor what so ever. I did a quick piece count and of course found the higher count which means the shrimp are small. The old brand was excellent with good flavor and light breading. Another bomb in Sam's attempt to bring store brands in to improve their bottom line.

These are new to my Sam's Club. I always bought the SeaPak Breaded Shrimp but Sam's has replaced those with these. These are terrible. Too much breading with chewy, rubbery shrimp. We loved the SeaPak Shrimp. These were such a huge disappointment. Won't be buying again.

I can't tell you the disappointment when my husband brought these home and I discovered that they are NOT the same Member's Mark Butterfly shrimp. Member's Mark Butterfly Shrimp that we used to get, not too long ago was a true butterfly with a light, seemed like panko breading and they WERE NOT in two bags...they were layed out in the box with wax paper between each layer. Those were delicious...bought them all the time. These remind me of the Seapak brand, just in a Member's Mark box. Wherever Sam's got the original butterfly shrimp and sold them under the Member's Mark name, they should go back to those. Obviously what they are selling now is lesser quality than the original. Please bring the other back!!!

I always purchased the Sea Pak Jumbo breaded shrimp and really liked them, as did other people when I served them. The only Sea Pak I now find it the coconut shrimp which I will try but my whole family would not like those. I will not buy the Members Mark brand again.

We used to buy these years ago and they were amazing. Not sure what is different but these are flavorless and the shrimp is the size of cocktail shrimp. Wonder if we can return these to get our money back - 1/2 of the package was thrown out. Do no buy!
