Thank you General Tire!

I typically look for an inexpensive tire, and as the saying goes ""you get what you pay for"" so I don't expect much.  I got tired (pardon the pun) of similarly iffy performance and value from the likes of Pirelli, Dunlop and ESPECIALLY Firestone.  So I figured I would give GT a shot at earning my business.  I'm on my third full set of four and my second car and don't intend to look back!

Great tire!!!

Running these on my 1995 Ford Escort Wagon and I am SO satisfied with these tires. I have had them for two years with no wearing showing. These are better than Cooper or Michelin and I have ran both on the Escort. It's General Tires for me from now on.

throwing out alignment

As i say we installed these and the car at once started to pull to the left.So i went to a garage to check for front end issues he claimed they were fine so he put the right front on the left and vise versa and know it pulls to the left?? bad tires?, i checked them all to make sure they were the same size and now am experimenting with running 1 a bit higher psi to try and correct it.Car is a dodge journey r/t awd,53k miles.

Five full sets of Altimax RT 43 since 2013

By far the best Tires I have owned. Soon as my original Tires go on my Vehicles the General Altimax RT 43 are the go to replacements for both mine and my daughter's car. Wisconsin Winters are brutal and my daughter the first time she drove the new Tires in an 8"" Snow Storm could not believe how well these tires performed and she replace virtually new Tires on her car for the plain fact they perform! Consumer Reports #1 Rated Touring All Season Radial I think for the last nine years!

Better than I thought

Bought these tires not knowing if they were any good. Crazy I know but Sullivan Tire said that several employees had bought them and loved them. Boy are they right. Tires hold the road very well and my gas mileage improved greatly. I am pleasantly surprised by these tires.

Smooth Ride

I love these tires. After using Michelins tires for years and not getting the mileage I should have on them I decided to try something new.Saw the reviews on this tire and decided to give it a try. The ride is so smoothe and much quieter  with these tires. Ready to put them on my other Van. Running them on a 1990 Dodge Grand Caravan also going to put them on my 2014 Chrysler Towne and Country.

Awesome Looks, Just an OK tire

245/55/18 on 18x8 OEM rims. Location is South Louisiana. Purchased solely on looks. With only 5k miles they are quit and handle highway speeds great in dry weather. A little stiffer ride than expected and not so great when hitting water puddles at speed. Im just more cautious when driving in the rain. Except for occasional slippage when taking off in wet weather, All in all, just a hair under par with the other major brands out there.

Better than advertised.

I bought 4 replacement tires each for 2 of my cars (Honda Odyssey and CRV) within the last year because I owned them before. The previous set on my Acura TL looked brand new with very little wear when I sold the car after 28,000 miles. The new sets are less than 1 year old and have ~5,000 miles on them. The ride on these tires, as on the previous set, is so unbelievably smooth and comfortable that you are lulled into sleep. They buffer the bumps on the roads better than any other sets I had on my cars including Bridgestones and Michelins. You almost get addicted to the ride. If you couple these features with better than average handling on wet/snowy roads, excellent mileage warranty of 65,000 - 75,000 and an exceptional price, it is almost criminal to buy any other brand of tires for your personal/family driving needs.

Altimax RT43

I purchased the altimax RT43 8/18. I got to tell you that these tire are awesome. Smooth and quiet ride. Long lasting tred life. Convenient replacement tire monitor on the tred. It also has that misalignment feature. I have a 2010 dodge grand caravan tire size is 225/65 R17. I can hardly tell I'm in a mini van.

excellent in inclement weather

We live in Southern California and bought new tires in preparation for a Thanksgiving trip through Utah and into Oregon.  Sure enough we hit snow at one of the higher passes and we made it through safely - with more than 50 cars on our side of the road that had slid off the road.  We were very grateful.
