I was looking for good all rounder tire set for my Jetta.  I stumbled on the AltiMax RT 43s and watched the reviews on YOUTUBE--very impressive and so I purchased a set.  I am not disappointed and you will not be either--highly recommended for all seasons--excellent rain traction and good in the light snow.

I've driven my Altimax RT43 tires for over 6,000 miles on an old 2004 Honda Civic. These are outstanding tires. They are extremely quiet tires and add little to no noise to the road. On a good road, you won't hear these tires. They are a solid, comfortable ride and handle great on the road, on curves and in turns. On the highway, they ride smooth. In curves and turns, I've never felt like the tires were going to lose the car as I have on some other tires. Traction is excellent in our Texas downpours and I've never lost control of the car while driving in rain. I can't address ice or snow as we had a mild winter this year. These Generals were a huge improvement over my old Bridgestones (which admittedly were not bad tires). Overall, they ride and handle like much more expensive touring tires. I'd definitely buy a set of these again.

Put a set of these on my wife's 2016 Lincoln MKS Eco Boost last fall. So far we both are enjoying a smooth, comfortable and quiet ride. Winter here in central NY has not been bad this year but when the roads have been snow or slush covered, these tires have performed admirably. If the ride and performance stay on par I just might have to change my rating to five stars.

We replaced the OE Yokohama tires on our Mazda CX-5 with these before they were fully worn. The Generals are far more comfortable (softer sidewall and reduced tread noise), and offer significantly more grip in wet conditions. I wouldn't put these on a sports car, but for someone who wants long treadwear, safety, and value, these are hard to beat. The difference in ride quality is night and day. If you have a crossover and don't like how they all seem to ride harsh, try these tires. It made a huge improvement to ride quality without spoiling the handling of the vehicle.  In the past we've used General Altimax Arctic tires exclusively for our winter tires, but this is our first all season tires from them. Tire Rack did measured tests of them and it's truly impressive how they perform for the price. I'm very glad I bought these.

Tires have been on SUV for 8 months without my being aware of any problem.  Recommended by dealer I have relied on for over 20 years. Bought at good price and a recommendation that they would last. Probably the last tires I will buy for my  2011 Equinox.

Bought 6 months ago - drove both in town and at 75 mph for extended periods on major highways. Now have 5000 miles on them. Replaced original Goodyear Eagles on 2009 Maxima. Felt secure and solid at all times. They are quiet and stable but too early to judge longevity. They still look brand new. Have not used in snow conditions but the tread design seems good. So far so good. Would definitely purchase again and recommend to others.

I bought these for my 2014 Subaru Cross Trek after doing a lot of due diligence. (The car is not quiet as a result of road noise, poor insulation, wind noise and tire noise.) I wanted quieter tires than the stock tires, maximized life, and the best grip I could get. The tires are quieter than the stock tires and I have appreciably less noise in the cabin. I just went through the winter with them and we had enough snow for me to get a good feel for their sure-footedness. I will look for these tires again (or for whatever supersedes them) when I need replacements.

These tires have a quiet ride on the highway and get good mileage for my Camry Hybrid.  The ride is more comfortable that my previous tires. So far, traction has been good, even in snowy conditions.  Cornering is also very good and got even better after a 4 wheel  alignment.

Ever since Continental took over General Tire things have been looking up!  This will be my 3rd set of rt43s (Made in USA!) I have had on various awd vehicles! (Forester, Outback & now the CX-5)  replaced the cr*ppy Yoko Geo's that rubbed off after 15K. with the RT43's. Great tyre for the Lake Tahoe area! Runs quite and sure on I-80, loves snow up to 12"" on hwy28 or 431 over Mt. Rose. They last forever & best of all keep the same traction from 11/32 to 2/32! For the $, the best value out there.

I bought 4 of these tires at Town Fair Tire in November of 2017. It's now April 25th 2018. Great all round tire, preformed excellent in the snow and on wet surfaces with my Volvo Awd. No issues at all with them. Tires proving to be of very good quality at a extremely reasonable price
