I bought this after the first couple of models I wanted were not available at the time. The dealer praised this model and I needed to get one ASAP. I really hadn't considered an 8K since there are no readily available sources for it. I really felt like I was settling for something less than what I wanted. Once I got it unpacked and set up it was immediately apparent that this was a vast improvement over my several year old 4K TV. I don't know whether its upscaling and or full screen mini-LED backlighting (vs edge lighting on my old unit) but WOW what a great picture. I really like the remote connection box (similar to "The Frame" that allows you to connect all of the other electronics away from the TV leaving only one cable to hide between other electronics and the TV. If I could change 2 things they would be to have a non-reflective screen like "The Frame" and having the TV go to wharever youu last watched when powered on instead of the homescreen. We both love this new TV.

This is my fourth Samsung TV. in my house. The color and sound is magnificent. I am not a fan of the remote, nor the fact that we don't get written instructions. I am waiting for my remotes to be paired so I wont have to use the Samsung remote if possible. I am unable to regulate the volume with it -- only mute. Luckily i have another Samsung TV so I can use it to adjust the volume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The QN800B is the first 8k TV I've owned and it will be hard to go back to a 4k TV again. I know, I know… there is very little content available in true 8k. That's absolutely right. But Samsung has hit one out of the park this year with its Neural Quantum Processor—that's tech for upscaling. 4k content looks so much better on this TV than it does on my Samsung Q90T and Q90R. I can even see an improvement in 1080p content. One of the major reasons to choose an OLED over QLED is the backlight and contrast. With the QN800B, the differences between the two technologies are even smaller. Backlight bleed is extremely minimal and only barely apparent in completely dark environments. This is a testament to the MiniLED 14-bit backlight upgraded from last years model. Now to talk about where this TV really shines… its brightness (pun intended). The TV is capable of extreme peak brightness and HDR content is STUNNING! OLED can't even come close to competing here. Aesthetically, the TV looks great too. Its very thin at 0.7” and the slim-mount wall mount really does put this TV right up against the wall. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first model of this TV that I got did not work at all. It power cycled on and off continuously and had to be replaced. The second model I got worked. However, both models had a design flaw with the back panel. As you can see in the picture at the bottom right of the TV in the back the glue is coming off. Both TVs had this problem. It is possible that after years of heat the glue may become worse in the back and may need to be re-glued. The last negative that I have with this model, as you can see from the picture, is that if you are mounting it the mounting brackets go right over the plug that is required to connect to the circuit board. Spacers are required to not pinch the cable to the circuit board. Now onto the good news, this TV has excellent picture quality. The built-in speakers are better than any of my other Samsung TVs, and I have several. The 8K quality is outstanding. It almost gives a 3-D view. It gives the depth of people's faces and brilliant colors in high definition. Though it may have some design flaws I would highly recommend this TV. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 8K Samsung QN800B is spectacular. Setup was a breeze with the software and the SmartThings app on my phone. It quickly recognized all my HDMI devices without any issue. Wi-Fi setup and registration was completed in a matter of minutes. The remote is recharged via solar or usb-c which is a great step forward. Picture: The picture is amazing for all types of content. 4K and of course 8K content are fantastic. Standard HD content is also raised to another level by this tv. There are details within the everyday tv and movie content that you wouldn't believe has been there the whole time. Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep and dark, and the highlights are bright. This tv is very bright, but not so bright to be overwhelming and makes HDR content even more amazing. We have watched multiple movies across almost all the available apps and haven't been disappointed. Sound: Paired with the Samsung Q900A soundbar using Q-symphony, the tv and soundbar are in perfect sync. They complement each other perfectly for regular tv and movies. eARC allows for Dolby Atmos on all the apps that support. The tv speakers alone are good but for the full surround experience a soundbar or additional home theater setup would be suggested. Gaming: The game bar is a great feature not available on my old Samsung Q7 and adds great customization options when you are gaming. 120 4K gaming is awesome. I have had no issues with either of my next gen consoles . VRR (variable refresh rate) is another feature that makes gaming on this tv spectacular. I am looking forward to the future software update that will add the gaming hub to see what else this tv can do for my gaming experiences. Synopsis: This is the best tv I have ever owned. With the built in features and picture processing power this tv is future proof and makes the premium price, but after spending time with it, I would be willing to pay the premium for it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently have the TV to adjust to the best possible picture. My nephew games on it and I watch block buster movies. The picture quality is incredible. It has a processer in it that brings out extra detail in watching 4k. Plenty of hook-ups for multiple devices. It is heavy and does require two people to lift it. It has micro led for a better picture. I can't say anything negative about this tv. The remote can be charged with a cord or just put it face down and the solar panel will charge it. VERY easy to navigate the apps menu.

OTA programing with a correctly placed amplified indoor antenna has stunning visual quality...on near thirty plus channels in my area on this set. Samsung has now made me a return customer with this product.

Great pixelation and absolutely amazing colors. Blacks are seamless and the colors are so vivid. Fantastic refresh rate with first in class frame interlacing. You won't believe your eyes if you watch sports on this. Like all Samsung Tv's, the user interface is clean and easy to use. Could not recommend this tv enough
