Great picture & Smart

I bought the VIZIO SmartCast D-series 24" HD tv for my bedroom. It has proven to be just right for the bedroom space. Picture is full 1080HD with a 120hz refresh rate (unusual for 24" tvs). The pre-loaded Smart apps are numerous and include Hulu, Netflix, VUDU, Amazon Prime and Pluto. One minor note is that the remote has a very light touch, but this is not a problem if you use the cable/sat. remote for channel changing. I haven't linked my smart phone to SmartCast yet.

Love the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used my VIZIO TV for over 3 years now and there are several things I appreciate, and some that I don't. My expectations were low due to the use case for the product as a monitor / TV. The product has worked well with the exception of the start up of the home page for the apps and the reaction time of the remote. Bottom line - you get what you pay for.

Great features. Quality TV for the price.

I bought this tv 1yr ago. It is a great tv. My only complaint is if the tv is left on for too long without being powered down it will freeze on you and remote and smart cast mobile both become unresponsive. The only to restart is by unplugging it. Outside of that (which doesn't happen often) no problems. Screen is beautiful.

Great picture and lots of features.

Bought this set to replace an older set due to having the smart tv features with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. The picture is clear and crisp and doesn't take up nearly as much space as the previous set, even though they both are 32". This set is in a bedroom so the sound is fine. I generally prefer a set with a speaker that is in the front but was pleasantly surprised that it can be clearly heard. Overall very pleased and the price is very affordable. NOTE: Just a note to any future potential buyer regarding any set they wish to purchase. We currently have cable service through a well known company and they are going totally digital in a month so we are forced to rent an additional cable box as there is only one brand that they have a contract with which has the built-in signal capability without requiring this box (according to their customer service) and Vizio is not that brand. Therefore no other brand except for the contracted brand will be able to pull in the signal without the box and all other brand sets will have a blank screen. However, I would not let this deter purchasing this set as it is affordable and provides a great picture. Bottom line: Check with your cable company to see if you will be required to rent this digital receiver with whatever brand set you currently own or plan to purchase in the future. This set is great either way...the boxes are small and non-intrusive but you will have an additional monthly rental fee.

It's an ok tv for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv has all the apps one would need to be able to review all the different streaming services. It has good picture quality, but the sound quality is subpar. They put the speakers facing downwards, so all the sound goes down making it really difficult to clearly hear when people are talking. I had to add something to the tv so the sound would be more directed at me and not my floor. Also the tv has a really hard time playing Thursday night football on Prime, the buffering can never catch-up so it's always pausing, and I know it's not my internet cause I have fiber optic line, and the game plays fine on all my other tvs.

Great Picture Great Price

After doing much research I bought the VIZIO D-Series for our master bedroom. The TV was easy to set up, with no problem connecting to the Wi-Fi. The picture is sharp and bright with excellent color. The remote is the one negative I have for the product, the buttons are small with no back light. This is my first Vizio TV, based on my experience so far it will not be the last. Great picture Great price.

Lots of Great Features for the Price

I got this TV for the bedroom and I really like it. It has so many great features and the resolution is very good for the price. It was also very easy to set up and the menu is intuitive. I have it four stars because I do have one thing that I don't like about it is the slow response and lag time especially when scrolling through the channels. Otherwise I like everything about it.

Great Value

Setup takes a while but this is a complex TV. Be patient Great picture. Smartcast is fairly easy to use. Small remote is a plus. The power cord to the back of the TV is a bit long and will have to be compensated for when wall mount. I have chosen to purchase a right angle power cord to reduce the space requirements. So far, the only negative I have found.

Beautiful picture.

Lets see, first off, the remote needs help. Breathe on it and the battery covers falls off. Next is the effort it takes to get the remote to function and undertake the action you actually want. Now for the tv itself. It's a beautiful picture! It's just two months out of warranty and the "smart" part of the tv quits working and the tv has to be reset every 5 or 6 days to keep the streaming functioning.

Amazing Quality for Size, one difficulty

I got this as Christmas present a little over a month ago and I love it. My only problem would be that my Smartcast stopped working for a while. It could be due to our internet, but I'm unsure. I don't know if it was a problem with the tv or our internet but I truly enjoy watching on this tv!
