Great Little TV

I've only had this TV for 2 days. GREAT picture and surprisingly great sound. While the sound won't compare to a sound bar or home theatre system, the vocals are very clear. I love the fact that it has the legacy component inputs and outputs. A lot of us old timers have good equipment that is not HDMI or optical. I don't want to add or buy an adapter.

Replaced 24” VIZIO

Replaced a 24” VIZIO with this new one. Only because the old was having a problem and call your helpline told it was not possible to correct the problem over the phone. Your agent explained the problem said it could be repaired but the cost would exceed cost of buying a replacement. With that info searched to find another VIZIO. Made a call to a store close to me and asked that they hold one for me. Looking for another one similar size but when I arrived at the store they did not have one and sold me the 32” for the price of the smaller one. How could I turn it down.

Fast Setup

I bought it as a replacement for an old analog tv. It sensed my wifi and ethernet connections. From opening the box to actually turning it on took maybe 10 minutes ( this includes the connecting of all cables/devices). Great sharpness, and the sound is fine IMHO. I am looking forward to many years of HDTV bliss until I purchase a 4K HDTV. This is my second VIZIO and the first is still going strong!

Good, except for...

We've had this tv for a couple of years for watching OTA, because no internet was available in my rural location. Now it's here and we quickly discovered the tv is not wierlessly compatible with internet. "Smartcast" is not so smart. The picture is great - for all 34 channels we get OTA.

Not the best experience

All SmartCast apps crash. I've had a couple of older Vizio TV's with no problems, but this one seems to be plagued with issues. I've disconnected it from the internet and am now only using it as a monitor for my PC. Even now I get booted out of the input once in awhile. I do regret this purchase.

Fabulous clear picture!

This is my 2nd Visio. First one is from 2014 a 42” and I will buy a third soon, hopefully larger, in order to take advantage of the awesome picture quality and streaming capabilities without a firestick or other device. The older TV is still going strong and perfect picture! Great Product Visio!

Great picture & wide range of features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV for my RV - in fact, I bought two: The TV fit perfectly. I have used all the input/outputs on the TV to connect to the RV sound system / HDMI DVD / HDMI Dish Wally. The most prized feature is the fiber-optic output which I send to my high end Bluetooth TX device: This is for my two headsets and the audio is independent of the variable volume. We need the headsets for RV parks which have a 10PM noise rule and our home theater has way too much bass. The second TV is for backup.

Fantastic Television!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This television was reasonable priced. It has great quality, and it was super easy to set up! We paid more for a Samsung in another room which was much more difficult to set up, and it does NOT have as many extras as this Vizio! I've recommended Vizio to many others because we have been so pleased with the setup, the quality of the picture, and the ease of operation. It was a great buy!

Nice little set, more features than I'll ever use

I bought this to replace an earlier Vizio that I'd had for several years. This is a nice little set, great picture and sound, and set-up was easy. I had to talk to Vizio customer support to hook up my DVD player, but other than that, everything went smoothly. There are features on this set I will never use. I just want a decent TV in my bedroom to watch in the evenings before I fall asleep, and this is just fine for that, plus a whole lot of other things that I may or may not check out over time.

Ok TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is decent for the size and price, but navigating the menus and the apps for streaming is extremely clunky and slow. The most recent firmware update has now all but turned the TV into a brick as it is now even slower to navigate. Also, when changing channels on the over the air antenna it now accesses the live TV app navigation for some reason and doesn't display the channel you change to and also doesn't show it in the info menu. Really bad software design from Vizio!
