Bought two, Still have two

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of the Visio 32" D series TV's and put one in my RV: This was in 2020. The original still works fine except the "fiber" audio output quit and I need headphones for RV parks with 10PM noise restrictions. So, I pulled the "original" and installed #2 and it works fine. However, for some reason there was no Smartcast on the #2 unit - I fiddled with it for days and nada. In desperation, I called Support and was connected with a knowledgable tech. In about 45 minutes that was working. Kudos to Vizio Customer Support. I love the color and resolution of these TV's and these TV's fit in my limited space up front in my coach. The TV's just fit perfectly and was the reason why I bought them in the first place.

Sharp images, easy navigation

I purchased this tv for a bedroom and it has delivered. It's a smart TV and as such will need an internet connection. Be warned, setup takes a good while so clear your afternoon. But, once it's done you'll be rewarded with decent streaming services for free or if you've got Prime or Netflix, you'll be a happy camper. The Vizio TV will provide you with a great viewing experience.

Reliable TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this tv it has been very reliable for several years now. Lots of great content accessible through the smart tv including plenty of high quality free stuff. Picture quality is really good and the price was great.

Went downhill right after firmware update.

Bought this TV back in 2018. Worked fine up until I tried the internet connection and it updated the firmware. That turned out to be a bad move. After that update, the picture got progressively darker toward the lower section of the screen. Since I had not purchased the extended warranty, I was out of luck so I replaced it with a v405. So far so good. I hooked that one to the internet right away and it did two updates so that is out of the way.

Video super, sound sux (only 2watts per speaker)

Acquired 2 weeks ago. Loved set up instructions and screen advice/directions. Only real problem is my older Vizio TV requires a setting of 30 to hear while this new model ends up having to be set to 65+ to hear at the same level. Unsatisfactory for such a high end spec unit. Additionally, also wish a 28 inch was available as well as some RCA plugs on the back. With such poor speakers, perhaps Vizio is "pushing" sound bars to hear with the newer units(?)

Replaced 24” VIZIO

Replaced a 24” VIZIO with this new one. Only because the old was having a problem and call your helpline told it was not possible to correct the problem over the phone. Your agent explained the problem said it could be repaired but the cost would exceed cost of buying a replacement. With that info searched to find another VIZIO. Made a call to a store close to me and asked that they hold one for me. Looking for another one similar size but when I arrived at the store they did not have one and sold me the 32” for the price of the smaller one. How could I turn it down.

Good, except for...

We've had this tv for a couple of years for watching OTA, because no internet was available in my rural location. Now it's here and we quickly discovered the tv is not wierlessly compatible with internet. "Smartcast" is not so smart. The picture is great - for all 34 channels we get OTA.

Not so smart TV

I bought this TV years ago and spent many long hours trying to set up the apps. The process is tedious and not very user friendly. This week all of that work disappeared and I had to set up the TV again which is when I got this invitation to review this product. I just ordered a Roku device to attach to the TV so that I can more easily stream the apps that I enjoy. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy.

Great image, slow OS

I bought this TV roughly 2 years ago and it's still going strong, picture quality is great, features are nice, updates somewhat regularly. My only complaint, which is why I gave only 3 stars is, the home screen is slow to load and the TV has frozen up on me a good handful of times. To fix in the past i would need to unplug the TV for anywhere between 5 to 30 minutes and then the TV would then come back on. The last time i had to factory reset the TV which pushed updates through even though when i checked for updates the TV said it was up-to-date. This was a couple of months ago now and i have not had issues with freezing and crashing since, so just in this review i have given this TV a 4 star review for fixing the issues mentioned. The OS is still a bit slow and youtube has buffering issues on this tv through the app which is why i can not give this TV a 5 star review. Even new the home screen was a bit slow, and netflix and youtube apps were slow to buffer. In conclusion, the amount of versatility this TV has mixed with the Amazing picture quality makes this TV a great TV, but it does have a downfall which is the slow home screen and the slow buffering in the apps.

Don't Buy VIZIO

This TV turns itself on and off. It's unreliable and VIZIO absolutely SUCKS for forcing me to “register” AKA give them personal data that they will sell and use for marketing in order to access BASIC FUNCTIONS of my television. Screw this TV and screw this company. I have you bogus information anyway.
