Easy to assemble, but the very first piece that I had to attach was defective. It was too narrow to fit. I contacted the manufacturer and was immediately sent a replacement part at no cost. It arrived within a couple of days. There was also one area on the main tredmill that was missing a hole for a screw to go in. At that point I decided to continue the assembly without it. I would probably have to take the whole thing back to the store and I didn't want to deal with that. It works great even without the missing screw. It dosent take up as much space as I thought it would.

Although the hand rails are much to low unless your are 5 foot tall, this is a good treadmill for the money. Controls are very simple and easy to use. Wish they put the handrail controls in a different place. I seem to accidently hit them if I'm not careful. Had this treadmill for 1 week now and so fare so good.

I purchased 2 Exerpeutic 1500XL Fitness Walking treadmills mid-January and I am very pleased with their performance. They are very easy to use, quiet, and provide a great workout! The low price enabled me to but 2 so that my wife and I can walk together, each at our own pace, and still get a great workout.

Once assembled, this treadmill worked great! We like the size of it and it's easy to operate. Shipping was NOT good--box was very heavy and the UPS guy couldn't get to our door without tipping the box end over end. We were lucky there was no damage. Assembly instructions were not that great either. But...now that it's in use; we like the product a lot.

As other reviewers wrote this is not real easy to put together and the instructions are only in Spanish and French (I think) but you can assemble it from pictures. They have a list of items much larger than what you need to assemble. We ended up with four bolts that we should have put on the base assembly before other longer bolts and could not get them in since the holes did not line up even after loosening the first bolts but we decided we did not really need them. The machine is basic, which is what I wanted. I have not had a chance to use it I've only tried it out to see if it works. It seems fine but would not be ok for jogging since the belt is not very long. It folds up well. The box was damaged and must have taken a really hard hit since one of the bolts on the arm was actually dented and the logo has a hole in it. The motor seems fine so far. I am happy with the purchase albeit I have only tired it out so far.

We love our Exerpeutic 440XL treadmill. It holds up to 400lbs. It is very sturdy. It was easier to set up after watching an online video rather than the manual. It was nice to have two of us to carry it and set up also. Great product for anyone wanting a simple treadmill just for walking!!

I bought this 2 or 3 weeks ago and it works pretty well. Very basic features but for the price, you take what you can get. I weight 255 pounds and it rubs smoothly with me, easy set up as well. Main complaint is the heartbeat sensor doesn't work well at all, I can barely get it to register and when it does it's not accurate. The treadmill itself though is great.

BOUGHT THIS MODEL BECAUSE OF THE LONGER HANDLES WHICH HELP WITH BALANCE. WISH I HAD KNOWN THAT THE PANEL INDICATOR DOES NOT LIGHT UP. IT IS HARD TO SEE AND READ. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY RECEIPT THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE EMAILED. BUT ENJOY THE PRODUCT.

Exercise= ugh/ But with this machine= Yeah. Love this treadmill. Just right for my husband & I. We are both in our 70s so need to do some walking every day & weather does outside does not always cooperate. So easy to put together, we did it ourselves. Not to big or bulky for our small family area.

I really like this treadmill so far. I needed a treadmill for walking , and this fits the bill. Not a lot of extras on the machine, but I don't need them. Noise is super quiet, and very easy to put together. I have had it for about a week and will update if something changes.
