It is a rich freshness in my clothes a pleasant lavender scent and softness. I love these Seventh Generation products because they are natural and pro-environment that is so important to the planet. The lavender laundry detergent not only smells beautiful but it is better for the environment and actually works! My family stuffers from eczema and this is gentle and not irritating at all. Clothes actually come out fresh and clean. I will never go back to my old brand. So grateful that In had the opportunity to test a free sample so I can share my experience.

This laundry soap is not my favorite. It smells amazing and works great on everything from my boyfriends work clothes and he works on a farm to my 1 year olds clothes and doesn't break my daughter out and she has bad reactions to most laundry soap. Thanks

I tried the free and clear laundry soap and I was amazed by it. Most free and clear laundry soaps claim to be fragrance free and dye free they all have a clean scent or soap scent or a fresh scent when I smelled seventh generation no scent it was like smelling plain distilled water not even a soap scent then when I used it and smelled the laundry it was surprisingly scentless all I could smell was the actual cloth and fabric. And it removed stains and softened my laundry. And it didn't cause any rashes or cause me to breakout no allergic reaction at all and I have sensitive skin. I have never been so impressed with a laundry soap before like I am with this brand . I am so glad I received this product as a free sample from seventh generation and I definitely plan to purchase this product for future loads of laundry. I highly recommend this product especially for people who have sensitive skin or are sensitive to smells.

I tried the Seventh Generation liquid detergent and was pleased that it was not overly scented and got my clothes really clean. It did seem to do the job and I would use it again. The price is a little high so they should consider lowering the price some.

I've enjoyed using this product. My family has multiple allergies and skin sensitivities. This product has not irritated or bothered anyone's skin. It has a pleasant scent snd cleans well. I wish the scent would last longer. But, I care more about using eco friendly and natural ingredients more than having a fake long lasting scent added to my detergent. I have used the seventh generation baby laundry detergent and I think was ok, but once I tried the laundry detergent lavender scent I loved it, the smell is really subtle, and you still feel that the clothes ia really clean, this just proves that you don't need the whole aroma in your clothes to know that is clean.

My family suffers from extreme dry skin during the winter. Nothing i've tried was able to clean our clothes AND keep our skin from getting irritated. Then I received a free sample of Seventh Generation free and clear detergent, and I can honestly say that it cleans my clothes better than anything else i've tried, AND doesn't irritate our skin! I immediately switched over to this soap for all my loads of laundry.

I loved the seventh generation laundry soap. I used it to wash a load of my husband clothes and then our kids clothes also. It made my husband work shirts smell good which is hard to do. And the smell lasted from washer to dryer to closet. I definitely felt like it cleaned my kids clothes very well. The smell was not to strong and it left no film or residue on the clothes or the inside of my washer *I recieved this product for free in return for my honest opinion*

We've used their diapers, wipes, and other household cleaning supplies, but never the Lavender Laundry detergent. I rarely use scented products, so would likely have never purchased this, but I actually like this stuff! I am so thankful for the sample, it washes clean and smells lovely.
