This detergent has a great lavender smell without being over powering. It seemed to be doing a great job on color and white clothes. I did receive a fee product for the purpose of my review. However, my opinions are 100%\ my own. I would recommend and also buy!

I received a free sample of this product to try. I truly appreciate that the Seventh Generation makes a dye-free product that doesn't use any synthetic fragrances. What you smell when you open a bottle of laundry detergent is a gently fresh fragrance of lavender. I feel comfortable using it on all my laundry needs, including gentle loads.

My daughter spilled dark green juice on a brand new sweater, usually this would be the end of a shirt because the previous detergent I used wouldn't remove the stain completely. This time I tried my free sample of Seventh Generation free&clear laundry detergent, applied it directly to the stain and tossed it in the wash. I have used this laundry soap for 2 loads now and I think it does a good job cleaning my laundry. The clothes came out clean and fresh. There really wasn't a smell to them, they just smelled clean. The soap is clear, and it makes me feel good knowing I am not using something with a lot of unnecessary ingredients in it.

Next is i love the smell, unlike the other detergent the smell of the Seventh Generation Laundry detergent is awesome even my baby is okay with it. It is also good for removing stains.
