The Seventh Generation Free & Clear Laundry Detergent has a very light scent that isn't too strong in the liquid form which is nice.  After washing there wasn't any feeling of soap residue left on any of the clothes and towels.  While the laundry was in the dryer it seemed to dry faster.  After dry, there was a light clean scent while folding - hardly noticeable unless I took a sniff of the laundry. After a few days the towels still smelled clean and fresh.  There also was no irritation to the soap after using it.  I highly recommend Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent! I do a lot of laundry! I do a load of laundry at least once a day. Some days I do 2 or three, it just depends on the days activities. I try to make sure I have an absolute full load before I do one to help minimize the amount of water, laundry detergent and electric I use. Using this laundry soap helps me to be more eco friendly and it makes my clothes smell great as well! They have that fresh and clean scent. I was pleased with how clean my clothes got without all of the extra harsh chemicals.

My 3 year old son has sensitive skin and different laundry detergent can lead to eczema flairs. I typically use Tide Free and Clear for all of our laundry due to his skin issues. The one issue I have found is that I don't feel our dish towels ever really smell clean after using the free and clear detergent.
