I've been buying this laundry detergent with my own money and is a staple in my household, it doesn't smell like a bunch of chemicals, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and never had an issue removing a small stain. While the sample packets stated they were enough for a load, my washer did not agree so I just added it to my current laundry soap and oh my goodness! Even JUST with THAT and I just wanted to lay in my clothes pile. Lol. Overall, my clothes just felt and smelled cleaner. I've actually since switched up what products that I use for my laundry thanks to Generation Good! Lol.

I used lavender scent laundry detergent in my wash and my clothes smelled very fresh and clean. I absolutely loved the smell and was smelling my clothes throughout the day. Although the Seventh Generation laundry detergent is fine for mild cleaning, it didn't work well for my kids clothes. My children have always been exceptionally stinky. From the time they started walking and talking, I've always needed to use high priced, high quality chemically-based laundry detergent. I tried Seventh Generations Lavender laundry soap an let me tell you it was the best thing ever! It smells amazing and it's clear so you don't have to worry about it staining your clothes, it also is gentle on skin. I would definitely buy this product.

I have been working hard to try and replace as many products in our home with responsible products, but I had kind of put a pin in detergents. My husband works in welding and construction (and is a mechanic as well), and I have two toddler girls, so I have to have some heavy duty products to help me out! I truly did not think Seventh Generation would cut it, to be honest. I was HOPING, but it was kind of one of those hoping-for-the-best-prepare-for-the-worst situations. I expected to have to rewash with my regular detergent afterwards. This was NOT the case! The clothes were clean, smelled WONDERFUL, and did not react with my daughters very sensitive skin afterward.
