When I got the sample packs in the mail to try, I already had a large load of clothes to wash, so I used one immediately. It got a huge load of clothes (including a soaked pair of my toddler's training pants) completely clean and fresh smelling. I was impressed! I love the free and clear, as it keeps our sensitive skin from irritation due to fragrance or dyes.

All of the stains in our laundry came out without having to use a detergent with harsh chemical that could be harmful to me and my family. Some of my family members have allergies to a variety of soaps and other hygiene items. It feels so great not to worry that someone is going to break out in a rash or hives. I will definitely be buying Seventh Generation free & clear laundry detergent in the future. This review is 100% my own and was given truthfully.

I received a free sample in exchange for an honest review. I break out in hives from laundry soap super easily so I am always hesitant to try change up anything. However the sample I got was a free of dyes and scent. The little packet was the perfect size for me since I use a portable washing machine and the ability of the soap to be washed out is a huge factor as well. I do not want to constantly spin the clothes and then put them back in clean water to keep getting the soap out. Thankfully seventh generation did wonderful it washed dirty clothes (My husband is a janitor and seems to always have a hole in his lip). No chemical smell was left on his clothes, the dirt was washed away keeping the color in tact, and I only had to do one wash cycle, spin out the soapy water, and then a rinse cycle which was wonderful. Even better I did not break out in hives from the product.

I love this detergent! I received a free sample for the purposes of my review, but guess what... I already purchase this detergent because I love it so much! My daughter has sensitive skin, so as soon as she was born I switched to a free and clear detergent. But not all free and clear detergents are made equally, lots still have harsh chemicals in them and some still have a hint of fragrance to them. This one has no harsh chemicals and NO fragrance whatsoever. Works great for cleaning all clothes in any temperature water. I highly recommend it!

I was a bit hesitant because of the lavender scented detergent, because I have a sensitive sense of smell. I am very pleased with the lavender scent it didn't affect my sinuses and it kept my clothes smelling clean for quite a while well in the drawers.

My 15 year old developed sensitive skin over the last couple of years and I have not found anything that has worked as well as seventh generation. I used my samples to wash his clothes and sheets only. So far so good! He is giving it raving reviews!!

I really wanted to try this, because I love this detergent's lavender scent. It is also tough on stains which is something I need, because I always get a variety of hard to remove stains on my clothes. I also like that it is safer to use than other detergents, because it has no dyes, no optical brighteners, or synthetic fragrances. I do not like all the harsh ingredients or all those artificial ingredients that are in most products that you buy. I love this brand, because it is a natural and a safe bet. It works in any water temperature, and that is a plus. Although I myself only use cold water many people use hot, and they can use this detergent in whatever temperature that they want. I wondered if this detergent would be as good as others at removing stains, because it is natural. It however did well, and left my clothes were left with a pleasant lavender scent. I received a free sample of this wonderful laundry detergent, which far surpasses any of the other laundry detergents sold on the market today. My favorite features about this product are, made in USA and free & clear of any fragrances, dyes, perfumes, chemicals, synthetics and anything harmful that I would not want to put next to my skin after washing it. It lifts stains without hesitation and we have a lot of those from food, juice, marker, dirt, ink and anything else my kids can manage to get onto their clothes. I have used this laundry detergent for years and specifically look for stores that carry this product.

This is the ONLY product I will use on my clothes. It has a great scent, not overwhelming like the store brands that gag you when people walk by. I actually had to bleach my mattress cover after washing it 4 times from the other detergent to get the scent out. You have me hooked. The only thing I will request is just getting an eco friendly refill for this big bottle instead of having to buy plastic every time. PLEASE!!

Using Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent for the first time was not a disappointment! Not only does it get your clothing very clean, it leaves them smelling fresh, without chemicals and it is good for our water systems and planet. Easy to use, of course, just pour it in!
