Bought in the Spring of 2019 because summer in Texas is brutal and the upstairs master just doesn't get enough AC. We didn't want to buy an ugly window unit. We've had the same unit and have used it every summer since. We use it every night, all night, from around 9pm to 7am each morning from mid-May through mid-September. We perform the basic recommended maintenance each year. It has never given us a single problem and has worked perfectly for 5+ years now. I'm shocked by other reviews and have to wonder how much is user error.

We have had this for at least 3 years and it's still running great. My question is can it be run as a dehumidifier without the cooling?

We had the unit for our downstairs basement. Was working fine. Then all of a sudden it won't get cold anymore. Or the dehumidifier was working either. Worked great when it did. Just doesn't last that long.

We bought two of these about 5 years ago and they stopped working they started rattling inside like some belt was loose or something and before those broke we had bought another one about a year ago and so far that one is still working but I'm not confident in the next four to five years it won't die on us. We spent $1,200 on these machines and they don't last very long.

I am extremely disappointed with this product. My mom gave it to me and it worked fine for a little while then it just stopped working and now WILL NOT turn on. I dont know what to do. I am chronically ill and really cant be without air conditioning. I have a very limited income and cant afford to buy a new one or even try to fix this one. I am in DESPERATE need of help.....

Going on my third year of using and only use intermittently for 2 months and the motor sounds bad this year like it's going to die and it's not blowing out very cool air.

We purchased 4 of these expensive monsters from Sam's and couldn't be more disappointed. We are constantly wiping condensation off of the units, they only cool very small rooms adequately, and the electronics are wonky and are often unresponsive. The only good thing I can say is that installation is a breeze. Will NEVER buy de longhorn anything again

I purchased TWO of these units roughly 4 years ago and both started sounding horrible. Like something was being mangled inside. Same issue on both! After enough research, I've learned the exhaust blower fans on this brand are known to have the outer ring bust off. This is caused from the heat. BOTH of my units did this. You'd think it would be a recall by now. They are out of warranty so the company won't do anything. For the money spent, they didn't last long. Buyers beware!! This is my second summer using this air conditioner and a PF code popped up. This means probe failure. Called delonghi and since it's out of warranty there's nothing we can do.

Got this for my son he told me it just stops working and doesn't turn back on then it will we kept filter clean not sure what else to do and now it doesn't power on at all worst product to spend money on these things aren't cheap
