As a native New Orleanian, I am always in the markte for New Orleans Coffee and Chicory. While RT is my lifelong favoirite, Community is a close second and I cannot get RT anwhere else. Community is strong, dark, and smooth - just like I like it. The price offered when I bought this was too good to pass up. Even French Market is more expensive that I paid for this order. I grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, where the local chicory coffee was Gill's Hotel Special. When I left home, I really missed chicory coffee, so when I landed in New Orleans and tasted Community, I realized my taste buds had found a new home. The roast and grind are perfect for most drip coffee machines, so you get the same great taste every time you brew a new pot. This is a great product, and it's no mystery why it's been around for so many years.

There has been coffee and chicory in our house since before I was born. I started drinking coffee and chicory as a child at the house and camp before community coffee. We buy nothing but coffee and chicory.the only thing that couldbe better then the current coffee and chicory would be a bold dark roast coffee with chocory.

LOVE IT!!! This one of the smoothest and richest tasting coffees I've ever had. I started drinking Community Coffee & Chicory about 20 years ago and haven't stopped. I compare every other brand to it and nothing compares. I buy an extra bag of chicory just in case I need to add it to something different. I even pack my own when I travel because the hotel coffee doesn't match it. GREAT JOB COMMUNITY!

I first had Community Coffee on a trip to New Orleans. At the time, I had no idea what coffee I was drinking, but I knew it was delicious. A year later, I met a lady in Mobile, Alabama. We got to talking….and the subject of coffee came up. I told her the best coffee I ever had was in New Orleans. Didn’t matter where I went, the coffee was delicious and consistent, but I didn’t know the brand of coffee I enjoyed so much. In 2 seconds….she said “You were drinking Community Coffee.” I never heard of it before since I am from Northern Michigan. She said I could buy at the stores in Mobile. So I did. I am definitely hooked. I came back to Michigan several months later and ran out of my coffee stash….and discovered I could order online. I order the Coffee and Chicory. It is perfect.

I love Chicory Coffee, drink it straight or blend it with other coffees. Some times I like it full strength, sometimes, blended with milder coffees. Better yet, it makes the best Irish coffee in the world. A little Jamesons, a little Baileys and Community Coffee with chicory and you're off to the races. It's good stuff, have fun.

I love this coffee & chicory. My family has been drinking this coffee since before I was born and I'm 60yo. It was called "New Orleans Blend." I lived on the West Coast my entire life and was only able to have this coffee when I would visit family in New Orleans. So I drank other brands of coffee until the internet. This is the most enjoyable coffee I've ever had.

Having lived in New Orleans for 13 years (many years ago) we became addicted to the wonderful coffee and chicory that is a staple there. And Community Coffee knows how to make it! We have imported our daily coffee ration to our home in Wisconsin since we left there in 1987. Highly recommended.

I grew up in Louisiana surrounded by Community Coffee drinkers. Just like most kids, I moved away to experience the world .. and have been looking for ‘home’ for most of my years since then 😂 Thankfully I can order Community Coffee shipped to my home though. Not only does every cup taste delicious, for a bit of time it hugs my heart as if I was sitting at my Momma’s table having a chat and enjoying her smile! I have tried many different coffees over the years and none compare to a good ole cup of Community. And that’s probably it right there. All the other coffees have been just that, a cup of coffee. But Community Coffee goes beyond that. It’s COMMUNITY, it’s HOME!
