I am not sure about the accuracy of the humidity readout but it really doesn't matter since I just set it higher or lower as needed. I used it for a humid unfinished basement of about 1000 square feet.

It cycles regularly and is easy to empty and the filter is easy to clean. It's been a life changer for an overly humid apartment!

I am using it mostly in the basement and lower level of our split-level house (about 800 sq ft each level). It works very quickly and is not too loud. I like that the fan has a high/low setting so I can change to a low fan if I want less noise. The bucket holds a lot of water. My only complaint is that the bucket does not pour well. It's fine if you are dumping it in a large sink or tub, but I often empty to a bucket to reuse the water. I have to be very careful or a lot of water misses the bucket. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our noisy old dehumifier died. After researching numerous sources we decided to buy this Frigidaire model, hoping it would be an improvement. To our pleasant surprise it has exceeded what we had hoped for. It removes much moisture, keeps the basement area dry and is so quiet, we have to be next to it to verify that it is working.

I bought this dehumidifier because our house is older and we were having a moisture problem. This summer the humidity was terrible, but our house was very comfortable. I actually set our air conditioning warmer because with the humidity lower the air felt cooler!!

It's does a good job especially in conjunction with an a/c on thermostat. Sometimes it's emits a bit too much heat but it does get the job done in a large space of 500 sq ft

In terms of water removal this machine has no competitor. It works fast and amazing. However, if you plan on using this in a room that people live in, it's loud. And when the compressor kicks on there is a very high pitched noise that I couldn't handle. I returned this item and purchased the Keystone. Much quieter with no high pitch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this unit for about a month. Humidity in my shop was always in the upper 70's and even the 80's. I set this unit at 45 on the humidity and that is where it stays. I have it direct hose to drain hook up.

I have had this dehumidifier for over a month now and it is excellent. I live in a very humid region, and my apartment gets very humid. This regulates the humidity well in my 1000 sq ft living space. It runs almost all the time because of the high humidity, but takes about 8-10 hours for the bucket to fill up. Easy to empty. My only complaint is that when the bucket is removed, water still drips down and I need to wipe it away before replacing the bucket. Easy to move and adjust the target humidity level.
