So far I think it's the best dehumidifier I've ever owned. Does a great job. It's an Energy Star product. I've only had the dehumidifier for two weeks. I'll see how energy efficient it is when I get my next electric bill. So far I'm very happy with this machine.

Bought this for my basement, approx 1000 sq ft. So far so good! I'm impressed and once you set the thermostat it doesn't run until it needs too. The one little problem I had was I followed the directions on emptying the water pan. But, I found out if you just pull it straight out, it works, no need to put your hands on the side.

Great Product! It quickly pulls out moisture from a room as long as you don't have windows open! The hookup hose in the back is a very convenient feature if you don't have the time to empty or are to lazy to empty the water that collects. The increments are by 5% up or down...not by 1%, lacking an extremely fine tuned control, but should be good enough for your average user. Clean and Simple, overall great design!

We use our dehumidifier all day every day in our basement and it works like a champ! This unit takes an unbelievable amount of moisture out of the air to help our clothes dry faster and to keep our finished basement smelling fresh and dry all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this unit for about 2 months and I am so glad we purchased it. In this area, there have been an inordinate number of very strong and very heavy rain storms this spring and summer. Our basement always takes in some water even when it rains lightly, however these storms brought so much rain that we had more water in the basement than usual. This dehumidifier took care of all the water and moisture in no time at all. The large collection bin is a god send. Only had to empty it a few times. Best thing is how quiet it is. Our last unit sounded like an eighteen wheeler warming up in the basement. All-in-all, best dehumidifier I've ever bought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to dehumidify my living room for the hot humid Texas summer, I am using now in the winter and it does a good job of keeping the humidy down. The biggest complained is that it does not shut down completly unless the humidy is at least 5 % below set value, it keeps checking so if the humidy never drops out side it keeps cycling.

This works as advertised. Ran a hose off the back for draining but you may have to clean the hose every couple of months as it clogged up after 2-3 months and the water went to the bucket in the unit. Figured it out after a bit and working fine again. Will it lasts 2-3 years? Time will tell.

I'm sure this is a great product I really don't know for sure I bought it for my girlfriend for Christmas and a week later I broke up with her. The cupple days I was at her house I did notice a difference in the mustyness in her basement, and I was emptying the container every day so it was pulling the moisture out.

This is at least our third dehumidifier and so far this one has performed the best. It is fairly quiet and does a good job of lowering the humidity in our finished basement. The true test will be how long it runs well. Other brands have failed in only a few years so time will tell.
