I bought my units in the 'off-season' (early September). Then left for Europe, trusting they would function properly in my absence. They did, and have continued to do so.

Quit working within warranty window.. Finally thought this thing is running constant and not collecting water. Check warranty 2 weeks past 1 year... Junk! Company will not stand behind it...

Had order 2 of these dehumidifier's followed the directions and everything went well. One for my basement and one for third level it's only been since 7\5\2019 a couple of weeks in, so far so good. I can tell a big difference in these areas.
