[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this unit for about a month and seems to be working well. Not sure I understand the humidistat logic though. I set it at a specific level, and the unit starts at that level of humidity, but then it changes. At first I thought that it was reflecting the current humidity, but the number is lower in many cases than I set it at, and the unit is still running. Haven't got the electric bill yet, so still TBD on the effect.

so far so good on the effectiveness,the quietness and ease of use on the Frigidaire dehumidifier. I do wish that the unit would automatically shut on and off with a timer and not having to set the timer manually. Also, I wish the unit would turn off when the desired humidity is reached. Will get a second unit for the basement this year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very pleased with this product. The price is reasonable. It's very useful and easy to use and maintain. It's mobile with roller wheels so it can be moved easily for emptying the bucket next to the toilet.

I bought this dehumidifier with goal of making my basement the right place to store clothes without ever needing to remove mildew. It's perfect 40% humidity all the time now. I have stored clothes over a long period of time and am very happy with the performance of the dehumidifier

Easy set up, I elected to utilize drain hose into previously set pvc pipe to drain. I use in larger basement ( 1100 sq ft. ) replacing ( 70 pint ) unit. I find it is just as effective keeping humidity level @ 50%. We have had an inordinate amount of rain, yet every time I check the reading is at 50. I would say it creates about half the noise of the old 70 pint unit which gave up the compressor. More than satisfied, dealing with Walmart online is always a pleasure ( no surprises ) .

I bought the unit about 3 weeks ago and it has performed well in my basement. Initially as suggested I ran it on high for 3 days continuously to take all the dampness out of the basement, then I switched the fan to low making the unit very quiet compared to the previous unit I owned.

It was to the point my sons toys would be resting against the wall and when I would move them the paint would pull off the wall due to the humidity. This dehumidifier is super easy to work, I noticed a difference in moisture almost immediately. Definitely worth the money!

I went online to see test reviews of dehumidifiers and Frigidaire was ranked on top of all the reviews. Hopefully it will still be operating in a year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this in the crawl space under our house. We can walk in our crawl space and it does well to keep the dampness out and smells. We use the garden hose attachment in the back of the unit to a drain. Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Functions well for our basement area. Has been pulling an unbelievable amount of water out of the air. I'm not so sure the sensors are totally right as they do not coordinate to other meters we have and it seems to stay on even when it's own meter says it is below whatever you set it at. But it is nice and quite and easy to empty.
