Easy to operate and empty and clean filter; quiet operation. I like how you can pick your level of humidity and that it constantly tells you the current humidity % in the area and the automatic shut off feature when it reaches the % you selected or the container is filled. No problems.

The dehumidifier works great, took a ton of water out of the air, and the hose hookup worked flawlessly. Now to see how long the dehumidifier will last. My previous Frigidaire worked for just two years, but the company honored its guarantee, and refunded the cost. With that kind of service, I was quite glad to buy another!

I purchased two of the Frigidaire Energy Star 50-Pint Dehumidifiers. They are super quiet and very efficient. The design of the water bucket is easy to remove and put back into the unit. Also very easy to handle while emptying. I highly recommend this dehumidifier as it's head and shoulders above any other brand that I've had in the past.

This is easy to set up, you take it out of the box remove some packing paper/foam and plug it in. I have set it up in my basement/garage and it is pulling out the moisture. It is already set to continuous use as the instructions indicate, I have been dumping the water container twice per day (you pull out the container and carry it with the handle). The container slides in and when it locks into place start back up. I have noticed the area smells fresh however it is warmer than usual, this may be from the unit running continuously. So far it is working great.

Humidity levels had gotten very bad in our house. Researched dehumidifiers and found this one. I almost bought the next size up and I am glad I did not because that would have been overkill. This one is rated for the size of my house. Ordered it online (Walmart.com) and picked it up in-store. It comes pre-assembled all I had to do was removed some shipping tape. I followed the directions and I let it run until the humidity level got back to normal. For the first 3 days I had to empty the dehumidifier every 8 hours. It gradually got to every 12 hours. By the end of the week, I just set the percentage and I check it everyday. I empty it now only once every 3 days. It is fairly quiet compared to some of my friends dehumidifiers. It is quieter that a window unit air-conditioner and you can have a normal conversation in the same room with it. When I had it in the TV room I did turn it off when I was watching TV just so I wouldn't have to turn the sound up too high(personal preference). I do move it to different parts of the house, which is easy, it has several handles(top and side) and wheels. When you move it to different rooms remember to open closet doors so air can circulate and dry them also. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have only had it for 2 weeks, but it will pull 2 gallons of water out of the air in my 1000 sq ft living area, every 12 hours if left to run constantly. The automatic shut-off works very well, to let me know when the tank is full. I had only recently bought a digital hygrometer and found out that it was averaging 65% humidity in here, and that was causing a musty/mildew smell. After I bought this dehumidifier, I run it for 6 hours at night and 6 hours during the day (the timer works great!) and I can keep it at 47-52% humidity with ease. My wife and I were both surprised at how quiet it is, even on high speed. I cannot attest to the longevity of it yet, but I hope it works for years, because it is doing a terrific job for me.

Set this up about a couple of weeks ago and it's working fine. My basement smells fresher with it running. I bought an ordinary 10-foot garden hose and attached it to the back for continuous draining into the laundry tub (had to put it on a table to do this, though, because the hose can't be elevated to drain right). Very pleased with this purchase so far!

Good product and at a reasonable price. Very easy to install, removes lots of humidity and is relatively quiet. Did not set up for constant draining because find it preferable to wheel it around various parts of my large basement, including nooks and crannies, and this has improved overall results. Have had in continuous operation for two months and all is well. Only drawback is having to remove water container daily and dump in drain or basement toilet but is a price I'm willing to pay for the benefits received.

Removes enormous amount of moister from the air! Bought due to family member has difficulty breathing when humidity is elevated which is most of the time in this area. Family member breathing much better now. The dehumidifier is easy to operate and easily moved from area to area if needed.

This product has so far been working above what I thought it would. I did not realize how much moisture was in my finished basement. Been on constant for two weeks and still getting two full buckets every day. The basement feels and smells good. Would recommend product.
